  1. I want to change by Miltek Berk HFC combo for something louder but without the drone on motorway journeys . I'm still undecided as to which exhaust to get, I like the Ark Grip, but it's going to be the end of Sept before anyone has them in stock. I know the Stillen is dearer, but has anyone heard it and could share their thoughts on it?

I I have been working 7 days a week for the past few months, but have the weekend off next week and want to treat myself/install a new exhaust. I have also have a Chargespeed bumper to go on, sp whatever exhaust I go for needs to fit without having to chop that up.

  2. Ark is due to be back in stock end of September.

If it was my car I would choose an Ark or Invidia true duals over the traditional style cat back. Not taking anything away from Miltek as they are a good system.

Ark plus HFCs may give a bit of cabin noise as they are quite basey, mines quite loud. Invidia plus HFCs might be the best bet for a happy medium

I went Ark with standard cats, I love it, had the Miltek with HFC's before that, no contest.

what at is it like when just cruising at motorway speeds?

  3. I love the look of the Ark, but as I have a chargespeed to fit they won't be seen and I don't want to mod the bumper, so I'm leaning towards the Invidia at the moment. I plan on putting an order in sometime this week when I've made up my mind.

Hi mate, I have the chargespeed rear and the Berks HFC's along with the Invidia Gemini, love the sound of it,not massively overloud and a nice burble on tick over, that with the rear end, think you'll be happy with the choice

is there any chance you could post up a video?

  4. I currently have a Berk HFCs with a Miltek exhaust and want something a bit meatier sounding. I was thinking of getting the Ark Grip, but that's going to be out of stock for a while. What else is worth considering that won't drone or buzz on motorway journeys?

  5. I have had my 2003 350z throw up a P1273 code (Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor 1) twice in the past couple of weeks. The car drives fine and I can reset the code, but can any one tell me what I need to do or fix to stop the error code from being reported?

BTW - I have Berks HFCs, plenum spacer, a cold air induction kit and my car has been uprev'd several months ago.

  6. I was going to bid on these to split but the run flats put me off as I thought they would be hard to sell.

Didnt want my Z out of action whilst it was in for some TLC to its shoes. But guess it will have to be now ;)

The alloys need a little TLC and I have them booked in to be refurbed for £50 a corner. The tyres themselves are virtually new, so for £500 collected the set, I'm very happy. :teeth:

  7. I managed to buy a set of 370z Rays with nearly new tyres for £500. :teeth: A couple of them have minor curbing so I plan on touching in the curb marks myself as I don't think they need a complete refurb as the damage is so minor.

Can anyone recommend a paint match for the original Nissan silver?

  8. I had a similar noise that drove me crackers, before removing the dash; try some packing between the windscreen and dash. I noticed that when I heard it, if I pushed a finger into the gap the noise stopped. I have since shoved a piece of black foam between the hash and the screen and the noise has gone. The foam can't be seen.

BTW. The noise sounded like a kind of electrical short, is yours similar?

  9. I have a set of Depo clear lights ready to install in my Chargespeed rear bumper when its fitted. Can anyone tell me what LED light sizes I need and do I need a resistor for them? I plan on fitting indicator LED's, reversing light and fog light.

    Here's the lights I have.
