  3. Forgive me for the short notice guys but I thought some of you may be interested in this :)

Do you live in or around the Norfolk area?

Are you free on Saturday 14th June?

Do you have a club specific car or something a little special?

If yes, then I’d like to let you know that we have a handful of spaces available for our upcoming Adrian Flux Owners Club Day, here at our offices in Kings Lynn. In a nutshell the day is laid on by Adrian Flux to give something back to the clubs. After a quick tour of the premises, we’ll take a drive around the Norfolk coast stopping off on the way at a couple of spots for lunch and professional pictures of your vehicle. The day will end back at Flux HQ with a BBQ at around 6pm.

We are looking for 1 member and their guest to attend together and places are limited so if you are interested, and you’re definitely free for this event, please email grant.varnham@adrianflux.co.uk with your name and vehicle you’d be attending in and he’ll get back to you with availability.

    Regards,

  4. So both cars run out at the end of the month I'm not going to say who I'm insured with just the fact that last year for both cars I feel £2400 was well too much, so the Audi has lowering springs, remap and wheels and the 350 has alot more I tryed admiral last year but they said the zed was too modified. So does anyone else know any other company's worth trying as I might have a ring around this afternoon. Thanks in advance for any replays. Oh Yeh I'm 26 no points / accidents with 7years ncb. Also the Audi is just an A3 tdi.

    Hi,

Please feel free to give us a try if you like. If you wanted to PM me your details I'd be happy to arrange for one of my quotes team to give you a call back.

    Regards,

    Dan.

  6. Evening all,

New to the forum and hoping to pick up at 350Z in the next few months

One query I have regarding Insurance,

Pre-research, I was looking into insuring a 350z not knowing the vehicle was an import, I typed in the Reg and got a very good quote of around £350

Since learning abit about the 350z (from this forum), I now know the ones with the square rear plates are Fairlady's and are Imported, Now aswell as inputting the Reg, I also click 'This car is a Japanese Import' - Now my quotes are nearer £600

When I put the Reg of the car in, it automatically brings up 'Nissan 350z Fairlady' does the system already know this car is a Import? and quote me on that accordingly? or am I still expected to declare 'it is an import'?

I have read various posts on here saying the insurance doubling for an import is a myth, I hope this is the case!

  7. Hi,

Just to let you know we offer a product called Total Loss Protection. Whilst it's not exactly the same as a traditional GAP insurance we feel it offers a competitively priced alternative. If you would like any details please feel free to drop me a line and I would be happy to arrange for one of my quotes team to give you a call back.

    Regards,

    Dan.

  8. Has the world gone mad, lowest quote i could get for a 1.4 Nissan Cube is a shade over £300!!!!!!

I am 43, live in a nice area, no points, 9+ years no claims.

My Zed is only a £100 or there abouts more than that (ltd 5000 miles) all mods declared and 4 trackdays thrown in!!

I personally cant see i am a risk or a 1.4 Nissan Cube thats worth £3k!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi,

Please feel free to give us a try if you like. If you wanted to PM me your details I'd be happy to arrange for one of my quotes team to give you a call back.

  9. So I have had my renewal quote and its £363 for me and the missus.

So I tried Adrian Flux and Chris Knott got reasonable quotes of both but then went on GO COMPARE website and the best quote came in at £231.90 for 12 months on my 350z Roadster.

Thats over £100 cheaper than any of the above.

The morale of this tale is make sure you shop around !!!

    Dave

    H,

Sound like you've found a very good deal. do you mind if I ask who it's with for reference purposes?

    Regards,

    Dan.

  10. I am having problems getting insurance due to my 350z having an induction kit. Insurance are ok with all the other mods on the car. Any suggestions ????

  15. Just thought i would give an insight into my recent experience doing the Ride Drive full day...That my better half got me for my Birthday....

The day was fantastic all round and that was due to the the Ex Police Fast Response Driving Instructor i got for the day.

All in all i covered 250miles all around the back roads of Moray and Aberdeenshire in a fantastic dry sunny day...could not have picked a better one....

Learned a hell of alot from this guy , not only about driving and handling the car but road lay out , reactions, planning and execution.....

I would reccomend getting yourself on one.

My wife also paid for the Driving Assesment which if assesed positively would help with upto 15% decrease in insurance through Adrian Flux as well as a forum discount on top.......

    All good........so far

Got the report back and it was a glowing one..... Julian from Ride Drive even stated it was one of the best they have had back....

Anyway....... Insurance renewal time.......dun dun duuuuuh

Exact same details given to all insurers with the exact same mods.....

    Admiral..........420

Elephant...Insurer at time......WITH NO DISCOUNTS FROM FORUM OR ADVANCED DRIVER ASSESMENT......389

Adrian Flux with forum discount and ride drive discount........2000 plus

So even though i would reccomend the Ride Drive program....Paying for the Assesment to try and get a reduced insurance through AF....not reccomended....

Although i got a nice certificate for the wall and a report to waft in front of my missus face when she is dancing like a chimp next to me in the car....

    Hi,

I'm really surprised that we would have been so high. Difficult to comment without seeing all the full information though. I would really appreciate it if you could PM me your details so I could look in to it.

    Regards,

    Dan.
