  1. Hi guys! Thinking of getting it installed to zed ,but know nothing about it! Can anybody who dealt with it give some indicators: costs to buy(which brand) instalation costs(London based ideally) increase of horse power refilling cost any implications on engine etc... Is it a good idea at all?
  2. Hi guys! Just a quick question to put me in the right direction.. Have an issue from time to time with drivers side window..sometimes it get stuck and i need to bang on the control side to get it moving again.:-) is that means my window motor is on it way out?If so how much new one will cost and how much labour cost I can expect? Thx
  3. Good call ! I did body repair at RT when my neighbour scratched/dented my car while parking.RT did a great job! May be its time to put proper body kit, amuse?
  4. Can you trust the history of the tyres? Hell knows where they being before! Repaired! etc...you have beast under your feet and you need to trust your tyres!
  5. Buy from forum member WASSO...but its not motordyne...Im sue he will be shortly here..
  6. I don't think I had problem with my zed before remap, but I physically don't see a difference in driving after remap was done! Im not going to pretend and say :"yeah, zed drives like a rocket now".This is what this forum is about, discuss things ,either they good or bad or neutral! I really hope remap was done correctly ! Don't see a reason why it should be done otherwise! Of course Do you not at least notice the throttle response is much better now? All I noticed is my bank account become £400 lighter .Just increased figures on the dyno paperwork ! - Driving is the same as it was before remap...

  8. Payco has a customised one,RT did it! Looks great!
  9. 99% of the time nope, not a dollar! You would need to find the right buyer to justify paying OTT for the 350z. On topic - Do-Luck wing /thread. if anything that make the car value drop They drop the value and make them harder to sell as you reduce the target market by a huge amount. Who wants fragile fibreglass over flexible bash proof plastic?! I personally hate the look of stock zed and don't think, one with the kit will loose in value.Zed is affordable car these days and people mainly buy them to mod in some way.Kitted ones always stand out in my opinion and at 30mph if you hit something or get hit it doesn't matter if you have fibreglass or plastic! Both will be dammaged.
  10. Oh no!!!!...SC,,,then another gear box failure...then rebuild...then SC and mods for sale ,car back to stock...What a journey! ;-)
  11. Hi Mark!Good to see you on here.To make it clear again :Im not questioning Abbeys skills/knowledge and ability to do the work.No complains at all! It makes sense in what you saying.May be I don't see any difference cause I had some of my mods for quite some time now and bought car with some mods already installed.Think we need to look at remap as a way to prolong the life of our cars after many ears of extensive use! At least ,after this post, some people will look at remap differently and won't be expecting too much.In my eyes remap is way to keep your car in healthy way for longer!
  12. yep,if you want serious numbers then supercharger/turbo...just remap with mods won't change your zed
  13. so in simple words -remap is the correct method of running your zed with the mods you have!! I feel better! :-)
  14. for two years of ownership i have never looked how much it "eats"...its my toy car,I only did 2.5k in two years...
  15. I think it irrelevant .every car is different..you need to drive yours before and after remap to see a difference..
  16. Thats correct, can't argue with that statement, but unfortunately people state that they feel the difference which I don't. I had overall gain. 10lbft...18hp...
  17. in ideal world I would like to do the same! on paper it looks different but in reality I don't feel it! It like going on scales and knowing that you lost 0.5kg ,but in reality its not even noticable!
  18. 2003...53500miles...10lbft...18hp... Numbers were not a deal breaker for me in the first place ,statement that drivability on 1-3 gears is smoother and more responsive. At the moment I don't feel it,may be in few days it will change(****ing hope so)
  19. @ comrade "Sometimes you just have to think for yourself rather that listen to what the people say." I have to disagree with this statement.Forum is here to help and many people (like me) have to technical knowledge so advise on here is priceless. But saying that, who ever states a difference on car response probably had a really poor driving zed before remap..
  20. That's the thing, before I got mine, I read numerous threads and responses of people saying 'it's like driving a brand new car' Too many of those comments floating around giving people the wrong impression. I comment on every 'Should I get a remap thread' Although, when I get my new engine, I will be having another remap - Because numbers! Yeah but numbers are not big !!! I understand if you install a supercharger, turbo !!
  21. May be its early days yet! I hope it will improve, but as I was doing 50miles journey back I haven't noticed anything different on 1-3 gears.Had lots of roundabouts on my way so had a time to compare!
  22. You didn't tell me! Where have you been?I would buy you a beer to save me wonga...:-)
