Count me in guys. I'm fairly local which is a bonus.
I'm in favour of the Coventry Transport Museum idea too! Mentioned it to a few fellow members last year. But they came into difficulties regarding liability insurance. I'm sure it would be a fab meet if it could be arranged though!

Bargain! Paid well over £60 for mine in the the photo above
-
Planning to get one of the Transcend ones either the Drivepro 200 or 100 - Not sure which though...
-
Swap the backs for the correct size and keep them for spares when the fronts wear or get a puncture

Getting mine for 600 tomorrow. Mates rates and notes helped get me there

Photos seem to be broken?
-
Do you have any full car photos. Little hard to tell how they will look close up.

Sounds great. Love to at least visit. Probably be tempted to put it on the rollers. Would be interesting to see what power it has since having it on a dyno a couple years back.
-
Love to do this, but will be on a flight back from my holibobs then. Looking forward to hearing how this goes! Take lots of photos for me

Sounds like a great price... Images seem to be broken though?

For sale:
Europe - Nissan Xanavi X7.0 DVD v.2012/13
Yours for £15 delivered.
This is the latest version of maps for the later X7.0 navigation system (2005-2009 vehicles). It wont work with X6.0 systems.
I purchased this from eBay for £25 a few months back, but have since changed to a headunit with inbuilt navigation, so no longer need it.
Please PM me with any inquiries.

How does your sub and box sound in the stock location?
Would be great if you could provide dimensions and volume for your box as I might like to try the same mate
It sounds great. No rattles or excessive boom. Bass sounds tight and well composed.
For dimensions I just copied the glove box dimensions. You could get away with something a little bigger as there is a ton of room back there.
But as the glove box volume worked out exactly right for a closed enclosure for my sub, I didn't experiment and just made a straight copy.
Looking good Toothy, I also fitted Hertz components in the doors and they sound great, I've yet to fit my Alpines to the rear, is there an easy way of removing all the plastic surrounds?
I did a search on here and some of the US forums. There are a few guides around which detail the order of the panels. I'd never done something like this before and found it reasonably easy.
Removal requires a firm hand in places, but be sensible. Too much force and you will end up snapping the trim or clips. Take your time and think things through and you'll be fine!
Good luck to you both

Toothy and I passed each other again later in Coventry......fancy that!

I went Sunday. Did you spot me?
Was amazing. An item ticked off my bucket list.
Anyone who has not been before HAS to go! The top fuel dragsters were unreal!

Mine was run in 5th gear. I think they choose a gear that's most likely to be 1:1?
-
I guess we could have the greatest gain and loss from Nissan's (claimed) figures. 276, 298 and 313 IIRC. Then only 2 prizes would be needed.
This would work Perhaps % increase / decrease over stock to make it even more fair?
But if anyone has forced induction, they should be in their own category lol - or maybe have a 3rd prize for most powerful zed overall
Prizes dont have to be anything special. Some owners club goodies maybe?
-
Might be up for this. I've had mine on a dyno before, the week I bought it. Prior to changing my exhaust. Would be interesting to see what it's pushing now.
Are there awards available for best and worst performers maybe? Would make a bit more fun!

Guessing not!

I can still make this. Probably will have a +1 but can't guarantee

Jaguar XJS V12 HE (1987)
in For Sale
Posted · Edited by Toothy
Currently for sale on Pistonheads: http://www.pistonhea...xample/4066649?
1987 Jaguar XJS 5.3 V12 HE Coupe, automatic gearbox. Genuine 37,000 miles!
Full history with tons of documents and receipts.
Owned for the past 17 years by my father. He personally knew the previous owner, an elderly lady who had it for 10 years.
Genuine reason for sale. Car has had minimal use over the past several years. He is selling up and downsizing for retirement. He no longer has any room to keep it.
The car has been maintained regardless of cost throughout it's life and has always been kept on the road.
2 months MOT remaining.
Good bits:
- Engine is in excellent condition. Has had new cam cover seals, belts, hoses and water pump fitted. Plus reconditioned cruise control bellows.
- Air-con system underwent a complete overhaul. Including fitment of a new pump, dryer bottle, lines, etc.
- Gearbox has been professionally reconditioned and had a new torque converter fitted. Plus a new gearbox mount.
- Genuine Jaguar XK8 wheels currently fitted with matching colour inserts. Original 5 spoke wheels included in sale. Lots of tread left on all tyres.
- Chassis and underbody is in excellent condition. Thanks to the car being garaged for vast majority of it's life.
- Interior wood inlays professionally reconditioned.
Bad bits:
- Needs new aerial motor.
- Headliner needs replacing.
- Speedometer has recently stopped working.
- A few minor areas of rust have begun to appear as photographed. All cosmetic.
- Air-con system needs re-gassing.
A chance to buy a genuine, low mileage, appreciating classic.
Priced to sell. £4750 ONO.
