I'd potentially be interested in this. Wanted to do a trip like it for years! Keep me posted

I read lots of people saying just to have a good set of components up front and forget the rears. I do like a bit of rear fill though, so decided to go with some rather than regret it at a later stage.
I plan not to use tweeters at the rear however - not sure if that's a good decision or not.

In the past 18 months of Zed ownership I've seriously considered replacing the stock Bose system numerous times... I've finally decided to scratch that audio upgrade itch!
The kit I will be installing is as follows:
- Alpine MRX-V60 5 channel amp
- 4 x Hertz DSK-165 component speakers
- JBL GTO1014 10" Subwoofer
- Kenwood DNX4230BT head unit
I intend this to be a stealth install, to keep the car looking as stock as possible. Photo's and build updates to follow soon!

Just to update anyone else thinking of getting some. Don't bother with Amazon. The seller I used sent the wrong Item. I have got a refund but it has delayed my build somewhat. I then ordered a set from In Car Express... only to get an email that they were not in stock a day or so later! After another successful refund I ordered a set from Car Audio Security. 3rd time lucky I hope! Order has been dispatched, I just hope they fit okay now!!

I just ordered one of these.

Gave the option of PAL or NTSC to suit head unit

I just fitted mine behind the rear view mirror. Did not have to remove any trim. Ran the cable under the front edge of the headliner, poked it into the top of the A-Pillar plastic trim, then run under the edge of the door seal. Took 5 mins.

Sorry to dig up an old(ish) thread. Just wanted to thank you for making things a lot easier for me. Was going to make some MDF spacers, but searched for the product code above and got some ordered from Amazon.co.uk for under £13 delivered. Result

Sorted. Check your PM inbox Toothy
Thanks! Either was missed off last email circulation or I deleted it by mistake
-
Last email I received was 19/05 with the amended Saturday route in big red letters. Has there been an update since?

Only 5 months old and has had light use. Paid £250 for it. Also have an unused 4 Gauge wiring kit (which cost £30) I will throw in if required.
Amp has a scuff to the front, as can be seen in photos. But this is only cosmetic.
Looking for £170 (+£10 P&P) - I can bring it to Wales meet if required. Collection from Coventry welcome too.

You're welcome Ian! Looks great!
With a little patience it's fairly simple

Thanks. So where do you deploy and fit the cable ties ?.
There is a plastic ring that sits under your gear knob. Little straps of material from the boot wrap around it. You'll see when you take the original off
-
No fitting instructions But all holes are pierced etc the same as the Nissan one. Just a direct swap. You'll need a screwdriver and a cable tie or two
-
They came really quickly for me. You stand a good chance of getting them. Pictures please when you've fitted it. Vlad too

Mine was very close too. Just slowly worked it down and around and it eventually went. Other option is to remove center console
