  1. Apologies if posted before, on tapatalk and search is dreadful.

  2. I'd say don't get one from Japspeed/Toyo, seriously pot luck on their QC. I recently got one to replace what turned out to be the exact same japspeed that was on the car, which has very worn but not blowing flexis.

Took old one off, could see was japspeed and identical design or so I thought. The flange that joins the mid section on the new one was on such a **** that the mid section rested on the W brace... off it came and old one back on for now. Will be getting a stillen from Torquen when the times right, £250 can't go wrong and you know it will fit.

Just my 2c as took a month of complaints via eBay to get my money back. The seller admitted poor build then tried to get me to return at my cost! Not a chance, had to escalate to eBay who actually decided in my favour for once. Got a full refund, and now seller is trying to bribe me to remove negative feedback

Bit of a rant, but don't want others going through the same

  3. As I have just acquired a genuine Nissan tonneau/vertical divider, this custom made one by 14N with a blue "Z" is up for grabs.

Got this from Almeida1234 in October who originally got it from 14N.

Excellent condition, and has some extra felt strips around the outside for a really secure fit. Fits well with the standard thin boot mat, and very securely with a thick mat.

  4. I put some thick carpet underlay under the boot carpet, which has made a bit of a difference. As did a tonneau cover.

Outside of that as Rob said, would need to look at other form of panel deadening in the boot to limit the resonance, that and seek quieter tyres.

  5. Sorry to hear of your bad run of luck. Been there before many years ago with drunks running over an old car of mine, totally destroying bonnet and roof to the point of no repair. Gutting.

Hope you get it sorted, its a lovely looking car

  6. I'm intrigued how much power the car had when I brought it when it just had panel filter and cat back. Guess I'll never really know, but compared to day one it feels stronger, and now runs clean so all good there

That's the main thing though really. If it feels better to you and is now correctly mapped to suit the parts you've added then it's all good. ;)

Exactly that! IMO it seems some people expect an UpRev to give you a big old kick in the pants. It doesn't and won't unless car was particularly unhealthy before or SC :) Car is now healthy for the mods done, job done :)

  7. Very nice mate and at least if somebody asks you how much power you have you can give them an honest answer. ;)

Like the bumper tuck btw. B)

    Thanks mate

Nice! Getting my zed on the dyno tomorrow just for power run, it's a 10yrs old zed so no high hopes there.

Same view I had. 10 years old, 74kish, stock when I got it and added a few bits, so didn't expect to even hit the "factory" figure tbh. Let us know how you get on :)
