Clear Out - oem + aftermarket inc carbon
Scott TMN replied to Scott TMN's topic in 350z Parts For Sale
3 pages back :o Quick bump -
Here we have a pair of genuine UK facelift headlights. Comes complete with brand new D2S bulbs and HID ballast so is literally Plug and play, even for pre face 350z also. Professionally modified with Painted black internals, and 'iron man' mod. Excellent condition apart from one small stone chip on one light but lenses are clear and all tabs intact etc. I have literally only fitted 1 light to the car for less than 10 minutes to make sure it all works. I have never even driven around with these lights as I sold the car. Looking for £950 posted. Open to sensible offers --SOLD-- Thanks for looking

I can't remember what my bodyshop did exactly, but I know they had the same issue. But I know they got round it, RT should be able to answer the queries, I know they were helpful for me. My bodyshop cut the bit out and somehow did mount it in the right place, though they did suggest rebuilding the number plate lights with individual LEDs and not cutting any of bumper. But anyway they got there in the end so I'm sure they'll work it out

Right, so a few things for sale! More things to come maybe next week! Will post most things but would obviously prefer pickup from chelmsford Carbon Engine Cover Good condition only with very few light marks £70 + 5 posted *SOLD* Carbon battery + Fluid Covers £70 + 5 posted Full Length Carbon Cooling panel Good condition only with very few light marks £70 + 5 posted *SOLD* Tried to show these imperfections, aside from that all seems well Evo-R Burnt titanium shift knob Light scuffs from what I should assume the previous owner wearing a ring... £40 +5 posted Nismo V2 canards, redundant, never used or fitted, made of wood £25 + 5 posted *SOLD* Carbon dipped with gold weave lower center console. The dip does have imperfections but this is already smooth unlike oem so perfect for painting i'd say. £20 + 5 posted *SOLD* OEM springs, must of covered 70 something thousand miles weigh a bit so prefer collection but sure we could sort something out if need be £35 OEM camber arms £30 + 5 postage *SOLD* Must of covered 70 something thousand miles *SOLD* Gunmetal UK rear bumper few light storage marks, particlary round by one exhaust exit. Overall pretty good but does have holes from parking sensors, and also did have spats fitted at one point so tiny holes underneath too. £60? collected Willl have torqen undertray, facelift rear lights, painted facelift headlights coming soon. Thats all for now, cheers for looking, any questions give me a message

Lights turned up!! :D

Yes you just have to manage, thankfully i'm still running my old ones so i'm in no rush And yes I do like the solid grey, particulary in the flesh. Even some of the new focus's are availble with that finish and is a head turner! A little while ago I was reading a topic about it and someone said they think it would be colour that if you could easily become bored of, and I think that summed it up very well personally. Pearl white looks fresh, interesting when the sun hits it, suits the Z very well and updates it I think Just a hefty sum of money for a respray, and im not over keen on a wrap.

I know what you mean! If had my preface lifts painted inside too. I went with headlightretrofits on Facebook, still waiting for them though as he's been ill he said!! And yeah your not the only one to have said that! We shall see boost will be the very last thing on the list I reckon. Want to get everything visually 100% before the engine gets attention

Cheers LRF4N. And that's a good point! Not to say I'll never change it, maybe a bbk sometime in the future, but I do quite like the idea of the gold calipers atm, especially as I had red on my previous car

So been a little while since an update, nothing much just yet, accept I got sent a picture of my new headlights, which should be arriving back with me anytime this week This was one of the progress pictures Also forgot to mention ages ago now, I changed out my show n go plate holder for the electric version. Took some extra modification as its a bit longer than the manual version. Proper feel like bond now aha I will get a little video sometime. Also got some pictures that I am quite pleased with the other day (rest can be found here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/100355-a-load-of-pictures-of-my-z/ ) At a bit of a crossroads with the next stage of the car to be honest, aside from fitting the lights of course. I know I want to change out the bonnet for a facelift one, and do something with the handles, but next plans are more on the larger side, i'd love a Pearl white respray, But i'd also love air, on top of this I am also fancying an esprit wing again... so who knows whats next!
