Well the time has come to sell my cherished 350Z.  I've very much enjoyed driving and working on the car but I've done as much as I’d like to her and I'm itiching to start a new project for my YouTube channel so I need the cash.

All common faults and been dealt with, the maintenance is up to date and some gentle OEM+ modifications have been completed to enhance the car.

Common faults rectified include the replacement of the clutch slave cylinder, treatment of hidden rust under side skirts, replacement of rusted brake lines, replacement of rusted parts such as member supports and W brace.  Full under chassis rust prevention has been performed which involved stripping the entire underside of the car.

 A plenum spacer has been fitted to the engine  that removes the restriction of air to the front two cylinders improving performance. High flow sports cat have been fitted primarily to replace the worn out stock cats but also to increase exhaust air flow and again performance.

 The suspension and handling has been tweaked to get the most of the car with polybushings fitted all round, stiffer lowering springs and negative camber has been increased through front camber arms to increase cornering grip.

 All maintenance is up to date including spark plugs, coolant fluid, gearbox oil, differential oil, belts, power steering fluid and air filter.

Replaced rusted W brace with new Ultra Racing brace

Replaced clutch slave cylinder and hose with Stoptech cylinder and Hel braided steel clutch line, bled system with EDC racing clutch fluid

Rusted brake lines replaced. 

Fitted new EBC BSD brake discs, EBC Bluestuff brake pads, EBC braided steel brake hoses and bled system with EBC race DOT4 brake fluid

Both rear member support arms replaced

Boot gas struts replaced with SGS units

Engine remap by Horsham developments.  Car now makes roughly 286 HP.

 

This is the GT seat so is leather, heated and fully electricly adjustable.   Passenger side. Fits Coupe not Roadster as the wiring is different.

As you can see its in excellent condition with almost no wear.

Selling the seat rails I used to fit a racing bucket seat into my Z.  They are for the drivers side and allows the seat to slide forward and back to adjust it.   Fit straight into the existing seat rail holes.   

 

I'm selling for £60 plus P&P.

I stored my drivers seat inthe shed over winter and as you can see in the pictures below a rodent has decided to eat the leather.  Anyone know if i can buy the bottom leather piece and refit myself?  If not any recommendatins for an upholsterer, indeally near Peterborough?  Many thanks, Neil.

Price drop to £99.  Mainland postage is roughly £33 if you don't want to collect from Stamford (near Peterborough).

I'd start with a breaker bar and if they don't move use an impact as a last resort.  I've snapped bolts using an impact. The key for me was lots of penetrating fluid the day before.   I use a 50/50 mix of acetone and transmission fluid as a penetrating fluid. I find it better than anything yo can buy.  You just need to gve it a shake before every application as it unmixes.

I removed my rear subframe last year to treat the rust.  I'd say trying to re-fit it without a level suface would be difficult.  Maybe with a few extra people to help it might be possible depending on how bad the slope was.
