  1. Owning a 370z and a 987 Cayman S, feel I can chip in here!! For driving performance, handling and enjoyment, the Cayman wins hands down everytime!! We live in fear of the dreaded IMS bearing failure and the potential bore scoring, but if it was to happen we'll just have to deal with the cost and accept the 'Porsche Tax'!! Then we will have a car that will be good for a loooong time ;)

However, the zed stands out more on the road! Plenty of scope for mods/upgrades, and fun to drive! The costs to run both are very similar, and although the Porsche is a better 'drivers car', the zed still cannot be written off :D

But please stay away from an RCZ... awful

  2. Can vouch for RSV Graphics for work done previously on my car, and for this price I'm definitely going for it :)

Will be getting in touch with the lads at RSV shortly :teeth:

As I'm a definite, just need 3 others to go for it to bring the cost down to £200

Cheers for organising this James ;)

  3. Maybe good to get the dates in the title as an aide-mémoire

    Good call! Done

On a side note, just spent 2 days driving a good couple of hundred miles around the Peak District and i think the route is decided! Some amazing roads and fab scenery!! I think we've found a Sunday Lunch spot, just need to get in touch with the venue for availability and cost.

Hopefully this week i'll have some more information for you all about the weekend... It will be slightly different to a Wales one, but i hope that you will all enjoy it :D

Having a ball planning all of this :teeth:

Don't forget about the raffle, its in the Major Yearly Events sub forum too... any forum member is welcome to buy tickets. We have some fab prizes on offer so far!!

  4. Anybody know of any specific 370z roadster spoilers that aren't just a small lip style?

Any ideas on how difficult it would be to adapt one designed for the coupe?

Ideally I'd like something similar style to the V1 Nismo spoiler....

    Suggestions welcome!

  5. Bianca was born on 1st March 2010, when Jason Derulo was number 1 in the charts, and I was 4 months into dating MrNiki!!

I was running around in a Rav4 at that point in time, living on a very rough estate, and in a job I hated with a passion!

Amazing how life can change so much in a short few years!! Having the best time ever nowadays... :D

  6. Me and MrNiki are just coming up to our 1st wedding anniversary, so you can imagine how many times we get asked 'when are we going to hear the patter of tiny feet'... erm, never!! Neither of us have any interest in children, we both want to have nice things in life, travel the world in a few years and live for ourselves. Nothing wrong with that at all. We both knew from day 1 that was what we wanted.

What really bothers me is when folk keep asking us about children as if its the norm, and then say 'you'll change your mind one day'... I don't ask people why they had kids and tell them they'll wish they had never bothered one day, so why is it acceptable the other way around??

Never feel guilted into it, it's your life to do with as you please. I believe that people who have time to judge/pressure others are lacking in some aspect of their own life.

I will be sorting out T-shirt designs with the help of Squee, watch this space ;)

We have a great selection of zed's so far, and a few very nice non-zeds in the mix too!! B)

  8. Hey guys :D

I have started getting some prizes together ready for the Peak District weekend raffle, so I thought now is as good a time as any to start the ball rolling on selling tickets to both those who are attending and those who aren’t attending.

The aim is to raise as much money as possible for our charity of the year, and this one will be close to the hearts of many, if not all of us…

The forum admin/mods kindly reached out to Martin MacDonald’s wife and family on behalf of the forum to select the charity this year in memory of Martin. Liz and family have chosen the St Mary’s hospice in Ulverston (http://www.stmaryshospice.org.uk/).

    Raffle tickets £5 a strip (5 tickets)

I have set up a just giving page for payment of the raffle tickets:

    https://www.justgiving.com/MrsNiki

Please make sure to include your forum name when donating, or PM me to let me know once done.

Tickets will be available up until Saturday 4th June, the draw will be made that evening.

This raffle is open to ALL forum members, so dig deep for a great cause!!
