  1. Mk4 Ibiza FR Pd170 diesel (6 speed) 2004 96000miles

    £2650

    [list=]

Im trying to sell my trusty Ibiza to get a 350z,(Ive been and seen 'Dragonballs' Azure Roadster and I need it in my life! after test driving the S2000, 350z and Mx5 earlier in the year the 350 wins hands down as its the only one with similar torque figures to my car.

Ive had the car since 2008 and its been brilliant. The car doesnt get used through the week as I cycle to work but it does get used on the weekend. Majority of miles have been accumilated on the motorway as I go mountainbiking and hill walking alot.

If you need a fast, frugal car this is the one for you. I put £30 21litres in last weekend and did just under 300 miles. God knows how im going to drive any where in the Z :scare:

Im based in Fetcham Surrey if you want to come and have a look/drive. If you want anymore details please call me on 07879430854 or PM me.

  2. Well I foamed my car today and it brought it up spotless. 10x better than the misses car. I do how ever look after my car :D

I'll try foaming It without the prewash next time as I agree with the comments above about it dripping off too quickly.

Perhaps the missus car could do with a good good detail, like proper deep clean and claybar. Then you may also find it easier to clean on a regular basis.

Once a routine is set, it actually sometimes can become a touchless wash, but I still do the whole thing as I find it a tad therapeutic, lol

Totally Agree with yr comments but she doesn't seem to care about her car so I'm loaved to spend a day claying it. I too find it relaxing cleaning my vehicles :teeth:

  4. Has anyone got or used a bike carrier to take the mountainbikes about on the Z? or is it possible to fit a towbar?

Im in the process of getting a Z (probably a convertible) and wanted to know if carrying a bike was at all possible?

On my current car they said it wasnt possible to fit a detachable towbar but I just had to remove a small bit of the bumper. Suppose thats not really going to work with the massive backbox on the Z.

  5. Cheers chaps. With the lance from Autobrite I also purchased a Nilfisk C120 which is meant to be a good entry level pressure washer. It definately made some awesome foam all over the car.

I will have to try it on my car 'which is kept clean' and see how it deals with a weeks worth of dirt.

I thought that it might just be to remove the top layer of dirt and then i can use the two bucket method to clean.

I wanted to perfect the lance before i get my 350z (which im wanting to get detailed and some paint correction) so that the paint stays perfect.

  6. Well I used the above for the 1st time on the misses Civic and tbh Im not very impressed. Filled the litre bottle with an 1" of magifoam and then the rest with warm water. Covered the car in foam and left it for 10mins. Blasted it off with the pressure washer and then waited to see how clean it was.

Bearing in mind the misses never cleans her car and spends alot of time on the motorway it was pretty filthy.

While it was drying I ran my fingers over the body work and my fingers came away black, leaving dirt marks on the car. So I foamed the car again and left it. This time the majority of the car was clean apart from some stubbon stains and both the front doors, I couldnt even jet wash the dirt off (but you could wipe it off with your hand??)

I was under the impression that the magifoam(being the more expensive would break the grime down thus leaving a clean car)

Any one else got a lance and magifoam who would care to comment?

  7. Cheers chaps, how many zed owners do we have in Surrey? Its always great to know other owners who are local that can advise and help out when needed. I'd also like to have a ganders in th '06 zed to see how different the interior is and if it's worth the extra £200 road tax a year!.!?!

  8. After test driving the mx5, s2000 and the 350z. The 350z is the one for me. I'm currently trying to sell my stage 1 mapped Ibiza fr170 so once that's sold I'll be searching high and low for a 55 plate convertible.

My names Chris and I'm based in Fetcham Surrey.
