Replaced all 4 tyres because I had a nail in one and the age and wear generally - all done for £760 - not bad I reckon. Now gotta think (and save some dosh) about getting a Cobra exhaust done sometime - maybe? Rich

Problem sorted í ½í¸€ Just as Piranha hinted - ignition on, but don't start engine (don't really think this would matter tbh), lower BOTH windows, hold for 10secs, raise windows and hold for 10secs and all now ok - simpleí ½í¸ƒ Thanks guys. Rich -

Bulletmagnet - I'm thinking that as well from what I've seen on here. Oh well - too busy currently so sometime in the new year weather permitting. First problem I've ever had with this car - still love it, and I get 50 SMILES to the gallon í ½í¸€í ½í¸€í ½í¸€í ½í¸€ Richyrich -
Hi all, As title suggests, every time I unlock the door the window drops but doesn't go back up unless I operate the door switch. If I keep opening and closing the door I would end up with it completely open. I've tried a few of the reset procedures I've come across on this site but not sure which is the right one - what do you reckon guys - which is the right one, or will it be door card off? Richyrich

Drivers Side Rear Wheel Ticking Under Light Breaking
richyrich replied to ZZZ_2306's topic in 370z General
Rich any idea how that would cause a ticking? Will get it checked out though I was hoping whoever this happened to would join in with this - I think the ticking was caused by the part of the tyre catching on the wheel arch as it whizzed around - if you know what I mean! -

If I remember right, somebody else had the low speed clicking and it turned out to be a problem with a tyre starting to fall apart on the inner side - where you can't easily see unless you take the wheel off or raise the car off the ground enough to stand underneath it. Get your tyres checked if you haven't already done so. Rich -
Will, Amazing - your trip and the photos look a whole much better than mine. I missed your posting cos I hadn't been on the forum for a while. Mine was ok - expensive - and in my mind we drove around too fast all the while without really enjoying where we were! We did many of the passes you did - great aren't they. Rich

I can't believe I did it - pictures are big tho aren't they? Rich

Just had a great driving trip with an organised tour (last month actually) - even raced around the nurburgring in my Rosie! Did over 2300 miles in 6 days - not 1 single problem with car - brilliant. The alpine roads are incredible. Rich

The organised Alpine run in July with Nurburgringuk.com that I was going on has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, so I'm gonna do my own tour starting with a ferry to Bilbao, then through the Pyrenes, then north to do whatever takes our fancy, then eventually back via Le Havre 5 days later. My youngest son is coming with me so we can share the driving - got a go-pro camera thingy. Anybody got any tips on routes/hotels etc It's only a long weekend so don't need to rough it in any dodgy hotels.

Might be something to do with the heated seats - if they are on - there is a fan fitted in the seat somewhere I think. Do you get the noise with both of the seat climate controls set to the off position? Richyrich

Mark - I already forgot your full member name - bad memory!! I realized you'd probably never see me on this forum as I'm usually just on the 370 section and you're probably just on the 350 section. Hope your enjoying the z - nicer when the weather is better. Richyrich

After seeing this thread and all the comments it reminded me of the time I got my Rosie. Not long after having it my wife said to me " How come you have a picture of your car as your wallpaper pic on your laptop and your phone - and not of me? My reply was - cos I love my zed! And then the fight started!!!! Ho hum Rich
