  1. Drive the blummin thing I must admit - thats the sort of comment I expected from you Will - nice one ;-) Thing is - I hardly ever go out in it when the weather is bad or when it's dark - when there is a good day I'm probably doing something else and have to drive one of my other cars. I can't take it to some places either cos I'm fed up with it being scratched by some idiot! Rich
  2. I'm gonna be mothballing and SORNing my Rosie soon and with an outdoor cover on it during the really bad cold snowy weather in Jan/Feb/Mar. I will still be starting it, and moving it now and again, and keeping the battery connected to a conditioner. I had an idea to put some blankets on the bonnet, roof(soft top) and boot before putting the cover on - when I put an outdoor cover on my last car(a Z4) I don't think it did the paintwork any favours - especially with frozen snow and ice on it Anybody got any thoughts on this - I havn't got the the option to garage it. 3. in my handbook and the service sheet from Bristol Street motors it does actually say to change them at 36k/4 yrs - under normal driving conditions - yet the cabin filter is every 2yrs! I've always gone by the tried and tested once a year for oil, oil filter and air filter - overall cost is pennies compared to the importance of each item! Richyrich
  4. Just had my 2nd year service on my Rosie (272 pounds) - only to keep the warranty going really. I can't believe tho that their service schedule means the pollen filter is changed - but not the engine air filters (which are filthy after just 10.5k miles). I've hardly used the a/c as the roof is down most of the driving I've done! Gonna change the air filters myself and do the future services myself as I do on all my cars - I know I don't get the stamp but I plan on keeping the car for a long time - I love it :-) Goin to Trax this Sunday at Silverstone - hopefully the weather will be ok. Anyone else goin? Richyrich
  5. I get 50 SMILES to the gallon - don't know about mpg :-) Richyrich
