Hi
I posted a while back about having starting problems which is likely to be the Clutch sensor switch.
Anyway of bypassing it permanently, its starting to do it more and more and taking a few minutes of pedal dancing before it starts.
Its a bugger to access the switch, but i am waiting for a few days when i don't need the car to have a go.
I will PM Zedman for a price on a spare switch, but hoping its just a case of cleaning it.
If anyone has removed/cleaned the switch, any tips would be appreciated
Thanks

If i got these i have a feeling the bonnet wouldn't shut like in BBK's video as i have to slam my bonnet pretty hard to close
I think my bonnet needs adjusting, but i have not attempted it yet.

There was a member on here a couple of months back desperate to get rid of a pair of leather seats for £350 i think.
They looked in very good condition too.
(sold in late June, just found thread)
-
I assumed it was playing up, as when i bought it in winter was on about 26 then when weather got warmer it was 26.1, 26.2, and stopped on 26.3, was hoping it would carry on going up
I will read the manual next time!
It will be nice to see it working properly now, as a couple of weeks ago i did a full week driving on £40 then the next week same drive, same driving style and i put about £30 extra.

Thanks guys

You need to hold the lower of the two buttons left of the binical, you'll then get a couple of lines scrolling across the gauge which basically means its resetting your mpg.
Thanks very much i will give that a go
-
Have you reset it?
When you say reset it, do you mean have i pressed something by mistake, or are you saying there is a reset option, i may have tried holding the button in whilst on the MPG menu but i cant remember if anything happened.
I thought it might just sort itself out after a while, sometimes when i fill up the DTE doesn't always register straight away
-
Hi
My MPG average dropped from its usual 26 to 0.5 mpg
Each day it goes up very slowly and now its about 2.3 mpg
Thankfully the DTE is about the same
Anyone had this issue
Cheers

I'll be near lakeside on Sunday but i will have my Six year old with me.
-
I have a six year old which i have in a car seat. I was very worried when i found out the Air bag couldn't be turned off, especially after changing from a 4 door Saab.
I only have my son every other weekend, otherwise i wouldn't of bought it, or it would have been a second car.
The Zed seats don't like child seats very much, but i believe there are some out there which will fit better if there narrower
I'm using a full child seat, not a booster so it has full head support.
The seat is as far back as possible, as some chunky car seats will sit your child further towards the front.

Great work.
I have some scratches around that area from opening the boot.
I used the Dodo Juice Supernatural Hybrid which is a Wax/Sealant in one. (pics posted yesterday)
Bought a sample pot for about £12

Hi
This Steering wheel came with the car, but not fitted.
I have no use for it, so someone might like it for track use
Very good condition, few minor scuffs on the back which looks from install.
Retails at over £100, nice looking Black and White Leather.
I'm asking £30 plus postage although not quite sure of the ideal postal method.
I also don't know whether this would need additional fitting kit, i'm sure the experts on here will know.

Got these as Side Lights and Number Plate
Number plate ones slightly easier to install

Now I need a tracker! Any suggestions?
I went with Sky Insurance on here, after being turned down by my insurer for not having a Tracker, then turned down by a second because i had a K&N Air Filter.
Third time lucky with Sky! and sorted very quickly.

If your planning on running the Bose amp then in not sure how that will work or sound as the Bose system uses 1-2 ohm speakers where as most aftermarket speakers are 4 ohm.
Arh, my plan to start with upgrading the front Speakers might be flawed then, yes i read the speakers are 1 ohm and not the standard 4 ohm.
So if i started with the head unit upgrade first, that is going to have issues also as the amps are used to a lower input?
I would love to do a full upgrade, just don't have the budget at the moment.

Thanks
Makes sense, so signal to woofer can go to new crossover then split to Woofer and tweeter.
I see in your sig you have Jl comps, i have some JLVR 650 Csi hoping to use.

Hi Guys
I've got a choice of components im planning on using up front.
I have taken the door card of briefly to look at the current speaker setup, and was wondering how i would wire in my new crossovers to run the Woofers and tweeters.
Is there already a crossover somewhere, or does the tweeter get its signal via the woofer wiring.
There would need to be a full range signal coming from the HU i would've thought?
ideally i would use new wiring from an amp, but was hoping to use existing wiring interim
Hope im making sense

Thanks yes, both tricky to get to, been using a torch and a mirror.
The wires are tight to the bodywork, so going to be hard just removing the connector
