Recently sold my MK2 Nismo 370z and picked up a MY18 Mustang GT. 

I've got one last mod for sale:

Genuine AAM Resonated Short Tails with 5" Burnt Titanium tips. Perfect fit for the Nismo bumper and amazing sound replacement for the underwhelming stock Nismo system. 

Bought new from Torqen and in excellent condition, professionally fitted and removed for sale.

You're a bit far so I need to think about the logistics a bit as I'm in Wembley once a month, otherwise I'm from E Midlands. I'll let you know if I decide to pull the trigger.

Yea, I'm still very undecided on the HFC's but will give them a chance with a quieter resonated back box, they are silent with the stock exhaust, but so is the car 

No problem, I'm currently recovering from an op at home so I'm here all day every day at the mo if you wanted to arrange pick up.

The cold start sounded similar to my custom + HFC setup which unfortunately set peoples alarms off

I got a 67 plate nismo and I'm looking at custom axle backs as I'm not a fan of paying £800 for AAM, and custom ones tend to have a better fit anyway

Throttle response certainly felt different, better I think. Once I've got a full system I'm happy with I'll get it dyno'd and tuned.

Some very nice systems suggested but I really don't want to spend that kind of money right now. 

I might just get a new custom system made that is a quieter spec. Or looking at something like this:

I recently fitted HFC's and now this back box is too loud for me (with HFC's) 

It was custom built and fitted at Infinity Exhausts. The fitment on the Nismo Mk2 bumper is perfect. The sound is great with the stock Nismo cats and pipes, nice an aggressive with some pops but certainly not overwhelming or droney on the motorway.

tldr: I added HFC's to my already very loud custom back section and my car set off the neighbours car alarms on cold start... 

Looking for suggestions on rear sections that; match with HFC's, sound sporty but not apocalyptic on start or the motorway.

A year ago I went to Infinity Exhausts and had them fit a fantastic custom rear section to my Mk2 Nismo. It was the perfect fitment and had a brutal but not overpowering sound. The OEM Nismo exhaust is woefully quiet. 

Here it is. 

A week ago I ordered some Berk HFC's (shout out to TORQEN for the crazy fast delivery) I didn't expect them to make too much difference to the noise but boy was I wrong... aside from the antisocial alarm triggering cold start, it was painful on the motor way 70+ mph. 

HFC's on. 

The custom system + HFC's honestly sounded like a V12 in tunnels.

I lasted a week before having my OEM Nismo box put back on. I'd really like to keep the HFC's for eventual tuning. The Nismo box, as before, is too damn quiet so now I'm basically back where I started. What i'd like to find now is a great rear system that sounds sporty but will allow me to not wince when I turn it on and not give me a headache on the motorway.

If not, and that’s just a calc you’ve made, it could be possible that the anpr camera didn’t clock you leaving the car park and so they’ve assumed you were there all day..?

dunno otherwise - but I’ve had nothing so figure I’m “safe” - at least for now! 

The ticket states a 31 min stay :/

Yea, we were the first ones there and the fine says 31 minutes, maybe it was a 30 minute grace period

supposedly there are signs everywhere in the car park saying it's private and you need to be authorized to park there. We were there for 31 minutes....
