Nice updates matey. Car looks nice with the wheel colour change, hoping to get mine done this year too - can't deal with diamond cut edges much longer.
Is the car lowered now too?
Thanks!
Nope, still on stock springs. It has 30mm spacers all round and once I'd taken those pesky transport blocks out it settled down to a nice height.

Thanks for the comments all
Been so busy with work over the last 6 months I've not been too active. However, I have been prepping for show season. Here are some pics of the car today
Recently had a wheel re-colour and front plate removed and relocated.

So this was a total bust. Worst show I've been to.
Booked H1 individual display pass, turned up on time, directed to public parking outside the show... they claimed to be "full". Inside was poorly organised and stands were parked badly. There would have been plenty of space for the 30+(!) cars in the car park that had been turned away with H1 display passes.
Don't think I'll risk non-club individual display shows anymore and doubt I'll drive 2.5 hours to Donington again for this show
-
Just an FYI, I'm still unable to post pics via the little button UI, tried multiple browsers
-
Really enjoyed today as the weather held, great stand area and I have to say the show was about the right size for the venue as no 2 mile crawl into the venue and chaos on arrival!
As ever the Zeds on show were diversive which is what makes us stand out.
Thanks and well done to Nso93 for organising.
Agreed! Thank you organisers for another great show. As always it was great to meet some new faces and see some sweet Z's!

morning all, looks like we defiantly have enough members going to at least park together in individual display
How about the following:
Moto Donington Services
Junction 23A M1
Castle Donington
Derby
DE74 2TN
8am, leaving at 8:30
The services are less than 3 miles from the track with plenty of parking for all.

Sounds good, sign me up!

Anyone coming from Surrey that wants to meet at Reading services on the way to Combe?
-
Booked. Individual display too. Will be heading up from Surrey.
-
Nearly time for my Mk2 Nismo's 9k service.
Any recommendations in the Guildford/Surrey area for Nissan garages with Nismo specialists?
Bishops in Guildford barely knew what the car was when I bought it, so don't really want to send it there.
Cheers.
-
What's the deal with times and convoys etc? Anyone heading up from Chichester way that fancies convoying?
Normally a good Reading services convoy meet up for Combe.
-
Nice. How about a video of the exhaust?
A lot of rain put the brakes on this at the weekend! Supposed to be 30 odd degrees this weekend so I'll clean it up and do it then!
-
Looks great buddy, one of my favourites at japfest.
Cheers Shezza! We'll be at JDM Combe, Japfest 2 and Trax too!
-
Looks fantastic.were you able to bolt hub centric spacers on front and back without changing the length of the bolts ?.
Yes, hub centric spacers do not require extended bolts.
-
Great looking car buddy í ½í±í ¼í¿» we need to hear that exhaust though í ½í¸
Sent from my iPhone using a hammer and chisel
I'll try and get a vid together this weekend that doesn't have my brother shouting "give it some!" in the background....

Cars looking great dude, really nice progress!
I'm hoping to get my door handles done black this month too (I have a white MKII Nismo).
Do you have a front/rear photo of the car with spacers fitted? I'm looking to do this but can't find many who have the Nismo and spacers. I've taken off my Nismo arches and trying to work out if 15 or 20's works be best. Might help me guess
Cheers man!
Don't have the best photo's for the spacers. I was really worried that 25mm was going to be too 'pokey' and tbh the lips kind of save me there. If you have removed the lips you should be safe to go 20mm all round.
Again, not great pics and the springs hadn't settled at this point. They are perfectly flush with the arch + lip.
Thanks for the pics dude, really great help!
Did you lower the car also? or do you just mean that the stock springs haven't settled since jacking up the car? If thats stock height it looks really good now the spacers are on there!
No worries!
Yea the car is on stock springs, they just hadn't settled after being jacked in those pics. After taking the transport blocks off the front springs and fitting the spacers the ride height sits pretty nicely, although, I still may lower it a bit in the future.
-
Very nice car. I have the exact same low profile jack.
How safe are the spacers because I wanted some too but I've heard bad things so I got put off buying any.
Cheers!
The spacers are good quality and hub centric so pretty safe as long as you torque them on correctly. Never had any safety concerns with good quality spacers in the past.

"They" is me and I was, of course, kidding myself...
I really enjoyed modding my old 350 but getting a new Nismo Mk2 I thought, what would I do to that? I'll just keep it stock and love it, right?! Idiot.
Zeditis... turns out once you catch it, you ain't getting rid of it.
Also didn't help when Bob took the **** out of how quiet it was at the Ace Cafe meet
Starting a build thread now as I know this will snowball over the next year or so.
So far just a bunch of minor mods done:
- Black Z burgers
- GT-R Start button
- Black wrapped door handles
- Black wrapped side indicator emblems
- 25mm spacers all round
- Nismo rad cap
- Custom rear exhaust system with 5" burnt tips (beast!)
Here she is, stock just 3 months ago, except the black badges, had those ready prepared.
Not long after I fitted the GT-R start button. Super easy to fit with some interior tools, just pop out the old one and plug the new one in.
Whipped the wheels off for a good clean and to fit the spacers.
In the process of doing this, found these 6 wonderful mistakes stuck to my front springs...
Bit of a broken record story now but check your front springs for these transport blocks!
Got the door handles and side indicators wrapped. Love these!
All ready for Japfest!
Had a great time at Japfest, but as always the shows just feed my hunger for more mods!
Cheeky little engine mod, rather surprisingly this has actually increased the engine cooling by about 5 degrees.
Then is was time to bring the noise!
Thanks to Abi tipping me off about Infinity Exhausts, I rushed over there for a, very loud, custom rear system with 5" tips that really fill the large Nismo Mk2 bumper gaps. Totally transformed the feel of the car. The sound is amazing compared to the very disappointing stock Nismo system. Lots of burble and pops on those addictive rev sync'd downshifts!
All about the smiles per gallon now!
Gave it a good snow foam this weekend and saw a good photo op at my lil bro's 'office'.
Next on the build list:
- Rear window tints
- Gloss black wheel refurb
- Long pipe intakes
- HFC's (maybe)
- Number plate relocation
- ...and more
Cheers for the view!

LewisH,
I know exactly how your feeling, I've had my white 65 plate Nismo since March having traded my BMW M4...Yawwwwnnnnn! I just can't get enough of the driving experience. Where did you purchase the red start button?
Welcome to the club! Glad you are enjoying the Nismo. So much more fun to drive than any of the German wagons imo.
Got my start button from Adrian at TORQEN. https://www.torqen.uk/179-interior
You can just order the button, you won't need the surround in a Nismo. Easy to fit, plug and play!

I was a loyal AF customer for years, insured my 350 with them for £500ish and then my Audi A5 for about £600ish, I was a happy customer.
Then I got the Nismo and asked them to swap over from the Audi. The best they could do... the best... was a laughable £1500! Neither myself nor AF could explain why. None of my circumstances had changed.
Anyway, jumped on a comparison site and bam the first quote was cheaper than the Audi so I obviously moved.
It just seems that jumping insurers will always save you money.

Thanks!
I love the Z indicator wrap, really subtle little mod.
I had the front bumper professionally filled and sprayed.
