  1. ANYTHING is possible!

it just depends how big your wallet is! Most pieces will have to be fully custom, plenty of trial and error, would definately work out cheaper to go FI, or sell up and get a TVR....

  2. Cheers

Im unsure with the front plate atm, im going to get a vinyl plate made up for the min till i can decide on a solution

might even get a cheeky small plate and try and risk it

Get a full sized plate and attach very strong magnets to it, cover them in a material that won't scratch your bumper though. Also attactch two strong magnets to the back of the bumper, simple on and off when needs be.

    sounds like a great idea!

Todays job sorted! (excuse the mess, engine bay is the next job!)

    JWT Pop charger installed!

    Sounds bloody ace now!

  3. I bought my Zed just over a month ago now, with the intentions of keeping her standard...

Kuro Black, Alezan Leather.... she was perfect....

Upon getting the car home, and looking through the history a lil more, i discovered the car was already running a slight tune...

Apexi Exhaust (Y piece and backbox), Plenum spacer, RevUp remap and pushing a healthy 290bhp!....

So with the intention of keeping the car standard was out the window!.... But standard or not, she was still perfect!....

Perfect untill you realise the standard Rays have awful offset!

Spacers and suspension was ordered (Eibach pro-sport + 20/25mm spacers)

Stubby Arial was then quickly purchased... No pics, but its an OEM Honda S2000 part, fresh from Honda

Then I decided that the brakes were good.... but could be better, so thanks to Zmanalex, these were ordered

A cargo net was also purchased as i was fed up with being hit on the back of the head with tins of beans!

Unfortunately due to some eejit, the car was booked into have the rear bumper/ rear 1/4 resprayed, but i have decided that i may aswell tart a few other bits up, so...

The wheels will be getting sprayed, all badged resprayed, front number plate smoothed off, window tints and a few serviceable items sorted, and also a deep clean on the seats! The car should be back from Body and Tuning in Mansfield on 15/06/12 and to say im excited is an understatement!

To help the wheels "pop" these were also purchased...

My pop charger also arrived today, so hopefully by the weekend, we'll be cooking with gas again!

  4. Mines booked in for a medium tint on the back, and dark on the rear screen, didnt want to risk it with the front windows as tbh i dont think its worth the hassle!

Notts police seem to hate these sort of things!

  5. Ouch!

I once went on a spirited drive out with a few local forum members to Matlock Bath.... Luckily we stopped off at a petrol station, and as we were catching them up, we saw brake lights flash up, and the group stop QUICKLY... so we took evasive action and got to see the carnage side on.... 8 cars all going into the back of each other... painful to see to 8 good mates!

I was sat in the passenger seat and got to see it all too well! No1 had any real major damage, only a few broken bumpers!

  6. Not fun is it, still hopefully you will get her back and looking brand spanking new.

On a positive note at least you are not cranking up the miles in the zed.

I know how you feel, i dropped my roadster off for what i thought would be a quick couple of days job, its now expected to take 3 weeks, all when the sun was out and shining. Typical. Getting fed up of the courtesy car, just want my zed back.

At least your zed will feel like a supercar after being in the corsa for 2 weeks

Thats what im hoping! Ill also save a hell of a lot on fuel so i can slowly get her how i want her :D

as soon as the bodys all sorted, its time to try and hit 300bhp :#1:

  7. Im exactly 1 month into my Zed ownership but yesterday i had to drop her off at the body shop after some dickhead crashed into the back of me then drove off

Its going to be 2weeks before shes back, but 30hours in, and i already miss her :( Im having to drive the Mrs' 1L corsa about..... at least ill save some money for some more mods!

Shes gone in for a wheel repaint, rear 1/4 and rear bumper repair, and smoothing off the front number plate, and some tints!

I can not wait to get her back would be an understatement!
