  1. Have you looked here:

    viewforum.php?f=56

try this all the time.. maybe I am searching wrong.. I only find mainly 276 with mods..

If I am being unrealistic, tell me as I am open to my knowledge/expectaions being, well, being very wrong :lol:

  2. Z4 :(

I have jsut been looking for 2 months and as I love them it genuinely guts me when they are trashed and when a dealer is selling them close to 14k... they paid 8-9k.. for an 07..

I like Z4s, boxter S, M3's, but I made the mistake of driving a 350z 313.... :bounce::bounce::bounce: Its like crac.. I have not worked, slept, or maintained much human relationship since.. not been this addicted to anything since my teenage years.. :cloud9::cloud9: also 14k private.. no come back .. would rather spend 11 and have 3 left over just in case anything goes wrong..

  3. Hi I have been to see a few GT Coupes and they are simply not as descirbed.. I then just lose trust in the seller.. so they may have been ok etc..

I want a 313 GT coupe less than 30k on the clock, top notch service history and maintenance..

07, 08 or 09.. I do not like the temper orange ones to much.. but if you need to sell give me a shout as I could always respray.. sorry if that offends anyone, just being honest

If you have loved your car and are selling it I would rather my hard earned £££ go to you tbh.. cheers.. :):):)

  4. Does the HR not have knock detection to the red line. If so its still not ideal but any damage would be minimal and not noticeable on a 20k mile car.

I think it does, 3 specialists reccomended on here have said the car is clever enough to deal with this etc...

  5. You my good sir are not wrong.. I do as 12-15k is alot of # to me tbh.. I perspire and panic when spending 40 quid.. :)

You are not going to enjoy visiting a petrol station in a zed, then....

:) Spending in the right way does not bother me, and fuel for the beast is fine :lol: so are very good tyres and very good breaks and the best maintenance etc.. :D

  6. Not much fun stuff to do in Manny in my opinion. You could try the following:

The Chill Factor: http://www.chillfactore.com (indoor ski slope)

    Go Karting: http://www.daytona.co.uk/venues/manchester/

As for going out... you'll struggle to get in anywhere in a group... we separate into 3's when going into any clubs as you risk being turned away otherwise.

This place is fairly cool, although we had to book in advance last time we went... you pour your own beer from the taps on your table, and pay by the ml i think... a bit of a fun novelty.

:thumbs: Go karting is awesome at daytona..

Chill Factor snow boarding is good fun.. water sports at Salford Quays WS Club.

Google Manchester guided walks, hidden tunnels, awesome, random but really bizzare and good fun.. even with the lads, town hall tour etc...

I live in Manc, in the city centre, its a nightmare getting in with lads.. walkabout is group friendly. Book in advance a quick e-mail to the manager of a bar/pub will help.. The Northern (again book in advance) stays open till 5am.

Bem Brazil (Meat Feast), Topkapi palace, good turkish grub (posh kebabs) for a group of lads..

Akbars, awesome curry, google it.. its huge and packed with good vibe every night..

    Google Rum Trails/Walk manc also.

p.s Pub all day is never a bad plan b

  7. Also, Nissan put stickers on the underside of the bonnet - mine is a 313, and it has a black one about the refrigerant in the a/c, and another white one with a Nissan hologram and the VIN number on it. The top edge of the bumper also has the hologram/VIN sticker, as do both of the door shut areas and the underside of the bootlid.

If these are present, it is very unlikely (but not impossible) that it has been repaired and the repairer replaced the stickers...

That is very useful info...:thumbs:

  8. It'll be fine; I've known several cars over the year that have been fresh imports, tuned to japans higher spec fuel and ran on 95ron, they've all survived.

I'd never even consider asking about fuel tbh.

Just spoke to Lockwood and greenwood in Manc, and they said should be fine, you wont know for sure but wont with any, but should be fine...

  9. HPI is your friend

Very very true... Car has/is HPI clear.. but surely a repair can be hidden from HPI if it never went through insurance. Or is the counter to that, if it never went through insurance it can not have been that bad?

  10. Most modern Porsche's can tell you how many times the car has been redlined, fuel cut and so on. I'm not sure if the 350 ecu would log these things. Even if it did it still wouldnt show you any damage.

I would probably walk myself, I really dont think it would be an issue but there are plenty of others around

I have been looking for 2 months :headhurt: I want a 313 engine.. and thats it, from that just has to be low milage, maintained properly and mint..

  11. As others have said above, it's probably not a problem if the car hasn't been thrashed on a daily basis. It's probably not a problem even if it has. Who knows

I only ever use high octane fuel but thats only because of the scare mongering that goes on. For all i know the original owner could have run it on premium unleaded sine day one

That my good man is exactly what I am thinking better to get a low miler (13k) which I am aware of rather than one which is a compelte gamble at 20k miles, he has since text and said changed/switched at around 1/4 of a tank..

  12. If it has been in a shunt I would have thought if you look hard enough you will see other signs of repair

And my good man, what would these consist of, I did look behind/under the bonet everything appeared of a similiar age and straight.. I would get a full AA inspection..
  13. :teeth::teeth: I cringe at my knowledge (lack of it) when I press submit on here :lol:

Looked at a load of photos of 313's from various meetings I've attended. There is a very slight tendency for the gap to be bigger on the nearside..

    Pete

Is that the passanger side m8, the near side.. apologies.. I know this is probably a  question.. I have seen a few like this now..

Yep, nearside is the passenger side - because it's nearest to the pavement I believe....I thought it was the driver side for years! :teeth:

  15. He said Nissan told him it was ok.. :scare: he stressed he hardly drove it fast... 14k miles?? its a bit of a deal breaker for me... mixed opionions.. on searches? it was lovely other than that... :) It just concerns me he alternated usage?:wacko:

  16. Mine doesnt look like that mate! I wouls steer clear, could be a sign of previous damage!!

i was doing, and no w am doing.. its a blatant bump repair... imo.. 313's.. like a good job, a mint one, well they are hard to find..

:thumbs: thanks so much for sharing info
