  1. Hi Ladies and Gents.

I currently insure with E-Sure. I really would like some uprated anti-sway bars, and they do not cover any mods. I have contacted prestige who quoted me 1.1k (for sway bars and braided brake lines) for Hale, Cheshire. Thats up 500 on what I pay with the car standard (I currently have no mods on a 07 313).

Can anyone advise who they use in around the NW area for like for like insurance with modifications. Alex has some stuff in I would love to give a try :#1::#1::drive1:#1::#1: but I simply wont modify the car without knowing I am insured :thumbs:

  2. Perfectly normal. As the oil gets hotter it gets thinner.

Thanks all.. Cool... I will leave it then.. :#1: I just have nothing to compare it to, well I had 6 other zds sat next to it on Sundaty and I forgot . Thanks V much :console:

  3. Hi, I have looked but its not conclusive from searches.

When I start the car cold (after a night or day with no action) the oil pressure at start up goes very high to about 2/3rds of max psi and then slowly comes down. I have no comparitor and forget to ask the lads at the last meet :bang:

It does come down after about 1 and 1/2 mins, :snack: I must stress that.

Is this typical ladies and gents  Basically if its not, I will be getting a new sender unit.

  4. Its like ben elton got smashed :drunk: and just had to pen something  for a new queen tribute :band: and no one is like Freddy! What was wrong with Vindaloo. I feel for Danny Boyle who is directing the opening ceremony.. Good luck with that 1

  5. Hi all, when I 1st got the Z it was a little difficult untill warmed up, to get it into/change from first to second gear, as we know a common minor-issue. I have had the gear box and rear diff oil swapped out, and its made one hell of a difference. It is sweeeeeeet in transition now :drive1:drive1 .. Not used molyslip yet, just seeing how I got on with swap out :thumbs: .. just sharing :drive1:drive1. Its a real real pleasure to drive now :clap: Thanks to Alex and this forum for supplying me with info on this common characteristic.. B)B). Just sharing in case it helps someone else.

  6. Hi all,

I currently have a Hyundai Coupe S111 and have wanted a 350z for a while now and viewed one yesterday. It's an 06 GT Coupe, in black with 64000 miles on the clock and full Nissan service history. Price is £9750.

Any tips as to what to look for etc gratefully received. Had various quotes on the insurance front. I am in Devon, 41 years old, 3 points (sp50) and no claims and have had quotes of £392 (Sainsburys) up to £1400 with Endsleigh.

Hoping to hear from the dealer tomorrow with finance costs and a firm offer on my car.

Is anybody else thinking that that's too much money for the car? Picked up my 57 plate with 34k miles back in January for 10900.

That is one of the questions I was going to ask today. I know I am in Devon and cars are usually more expensive generally down here. If I do a 200 mile search on Auto Trader, I then start to think this one could be over priced by about £750-1000, especially with the mileage it has done.

I should imagine you always get a better deal in Jan for a rear wheeler. It does seem like an inflated price though, but its from Trade, so you can p/x or negotiate and you have come back in case of anything failing. It states its a 300bhp. So that has to be considered. .. I suppose it just depends what the car comes with, but from what I can see on the ad its stock..

  7. Would anyone be intrested in meeting up in the preston area just looking for numbers time and date to be aranged :)

Now let's start the provocative stuff

    . . . . Don't you think sunset cars look the best in sunshine . . . .

(Ouch. . .okay I suppoose azure is OK, but you got to admit the sunset looks good) B)

The sunset is a lovely, lovely colour.. Lovely motor Ian.. What happened to your roof though brother?? ;);)

  10. Cheers guys, am glad I am not the only one that thinks this. I have 4 witnesses, 3 of which are lawyers, so hopefully this will help. I also have a picture of a car parked right behind me on zig zags and they didnt book him :surrender: and I was in a car park space. I said to the officer, look guys is there a fine or course I can go to as I cant afford to keep the car if I have 6 points on my license and she turned round and said its your fault for having a flash car then isnt it. I couldnt believe it, however my main issue is... I was not parked on the lines thus should not get booked. No doubt it will go to court... but I refuse to pay for something that I DID NOT DO

FIGHT IT.. I know someone in traffic police, I will ask them what they know.. I will PM you if they come back with anything. I hate some traffic police, I get pulled alot in my Z in Manchester centre and never in my other tiny mini car.. Last time, no lights on, in day time??:blush:

Re the police officer, 1st of all you need to complain to the PSD (Professional Standards Department) within that force, if they deal with it, it needs to go no further. IF they do not then you can go to the Independant Police Complaints Commision (IPCC) web site and see if you can also file a complaint.. Re Mr "For having a flash car".. PC D1CK..

  11. guys had great time defo going to come to the next meet up thanks alot ronnie and lee :clap:B):teeth:
