That slight 'rattle' may infact be an already upgraded clutch and fly...what is its history?

guy i bought it off said it had no upgrades, but lockwood and greenwood said it sounded like one, it could be.. but the clutch has a sponge like click around downwards pressure 50% of travel.. so i am guessing at some point i will have to replace clutch and was just thinking of doing flywheel, bearings etc whilst i am there

how much do i have to spend, currently about 1k maybe more but i am trying to be strict for now, and yeah i genuinely do not care currently about looks, its looks lovely its a nice 313 z so in performance i mean cooling, handling, drive, mpg ( ), re-mapping? i have recently had new brakes so will wait until next year before putting some dba track brakes on it

tyres i have 600 but thats a seperate budget its in my essentials

I was wonderig what u good folks reccomend as performance upgrades, i have the car currently totally standard. I love it.. I appear to clean it everyday.

I need to get better tyres, I have scwhin on 3 and one random tyre and they are rubbish in the wet.

I have a 313 and there is a slight rattle in idol from the clucth and fly wheel and I feel maybe this is what I can look at 1st?

I want a 313 clutch kit pref oem with dmf..

and some quality gear box oils and dif oils

If you fit a single piece flywheel your an even louder rattle noise at idle and low speed. Fit a new dual mass flywheel and your be happy I am sure.

I have that exact combo and it chatters a fair bit, if you want a quiet ride go for stock replacements.

 

If you dont mind a bit of noise at idle then go for Zman's kit it is a real improvement over stock

Ok bought a 313.. love the cars.. there is a rattle on the fly wheel in idol and the clutch is spongy.. I proably am selling the car.. (long story ). But I want to know what clutch, fly wheel options are out there and prices (rough will do).. as this could sway me to keep it.. I have loads I want to do with it ( if I keep it), but just thought should start with the transmission..

Got my 07 coupe 313, today 43k on the clock..

It passed its inspection at Abbey Its now with them for a week whilst it gets the work required to it and upgrades..

Suggestions?

I want upgraded brakes, it needs new discs and brakes all round. So I want to upgrade from stock..

As its an 07 it also requires plugs and a p3 so abbey will be doing thier magic there..

Hi I am looking to buy a car in Edingburgh which is due a p3.. I was hoping to find a really good recomended garage where I could do P3, MOT and have a inspection prior to purchase.. (that is if the visual and test drive done) stands the test.. I would just rather spend £ on the p3 Service and MOT at an INDE than get an AA inspection.

So anyone know any very good garages for 350's in Edingburgh?

I have jsut been looking for 2 months and as I love them it genuinely guts me when they are trashed and when a dealer is selling them close to 14k... they paid 8-9k.. for an 07..

 

I like Z4s, boxter S, M3's, but I made the mistake of driving a 350z 313.... Its like crac.. I have not worked, slept, or maintained much human relationship since.. not been this addicted to anything since my teenage years.. also 14k private.. no come back .. would rather spend 11 and have 3 left over just in case anything goes wrong..

 

If Carla didn't have the zed then I wouldn't have got the z4. 350 all the way.....although I'd like to try a boxster sometime.

boxter 2.7 tosh, boxter 3.2s and 3.4s are awesome cars to drive.. I prefer the 350Z to the caymen, and I prefer the caymen to the new 911.. Not to drive just as a whole value to money package.. so i officially love the 350z.. I even prefer it to the 370 to look at..
