    Celica GT4

i had one of these for 5 years and still my favourite car out of all i've owned: Very reliable, but watch that superstrut suspension and the figure of 8 links - it all gets very expensive to replace!
  3. Most likely would have been me, were you driving a cabriolet? I'd certainly be up for a local meet - there's another lad on here from Brid called Tom, he has an Azure blue Zed and im sure he'd be up for it too!
  4. Just to let you guys know, the spacers have now sold too. Just the gearknob remaining. Cheers Dave
  5. Hi All, The canards have sold and I am waiting to hear back via PM regarding the spacers from someone who contacted me first, Tophooker has next dibs. I'll keep you updated. Regards Dave
  6. For sale: 20mm & 25mm Spacers. Surplus to requirements now. Bought new last summer from MW Tech on here, have seen probably 500 miles. Had them to space out my Rays, I have new alloys now so these arent needed: £SOLD. Alezean Gearknob. Recently replaced with a nismo gearknob, wear as shown below: £25 delivered I got these Canards at the same time as my Replica Nismo V2 bumper from EP Racing: £SOLD. PM me if interested in any of the above. Dave
  7. I did this on my celica GT4 - the job was easy because the Celica has a rear facing light in the door already rather than just a reflector. i have a couple of LED strips that I was considering fitting to the Zed.
  8. There is that option, but I don’t really fancy the hassle when this would probably look neater. I want it to integrate with the speakers and steering wheel controls if possible - without the need to do the Bose hack.
  9. you can use a wireless mouse and keyboard with the mini PC or you can get one of these: But the idea was to use the Touchscreen functionality of the headunit if it could utilise it.
  10. Hi all, Just thought I'd share my idea with you for a car pc set up. I just ordered a Android mini PC from Amazon for connecting to my TV at home and I started thinking whether it could be applied to a car set up. The item in question is this dual core Android stick which houses the operating system with wifi & bluetooth: http://www.amazon.co...&keywords=mk809 Now i have found a double DIN touchscreen unit which I am hoping would connect to the 350z stereo harnesses via the incartec converter, it has a HDMI input to allow connection to the Google stick: http://www.carcomput...-screen-monitor The idea would be to be able to run music, apps, and possibly sat nav through the screen if there is a compatible GPS device for the PC (it has a built in full size USB port) Are there any guys on here who are more in the know than myself think this would work?
  11. Pencil me in please - was a great weekend last year! AmyZed - camping - arriving Friday morning. Good at crashing - camping - Friday afternoon Mad Marky - camping - Friday hopefully! Kite - camping - Hopeful - tbc dave1221 - camping - arriving Friday
  12. all being well should be ok. As part of the kit there were two types of sealant....a hard wearing on to be spraying on the areas that see the most contact (fronts & bolsters of the seats) and a finishing sealant to keep the colour in - this is apparently the same process as the factory when the seats are made. an excerpt from the suppliers description i much prefer the colour, i guess I'll see how it goes
  13. bit of an update. I took the car off for winter and I decided I would have a go at recolouring the seats from Alezian to something a little different. So I bought a kit from the furniture clinic online and set to work: seats out and masking in progress First layer on: spraying in progress: steering wheel getting the same attention: nearly there:
  14. lovely looking Zed Louisa, just like mine when I first bought her - I look forward to seeing how yours progresses!
  15. i like the look of that. any more pics?
  16. Car's looking excellent Chris - great thread! Hopefully I'll get to see her when my Zed is thru for servicing next month
  17. really nice plate, i get my zed back on the road in two weeks and I'm sorely tempted with this!
  18. would definitely be interested in a kit to fit an 04 manual in the future
  19. i got my kit from EP Racing last august, good price but the front bumper and sideskirts needed fettling to fit but got there in the end. looks pretty good too:
