I tried the 4x ignition trick again, making sure there was nothing under the seats (i keep my car spotless anyway) and moved the seats forward just in case.
Once i had done it it just changed the pattern of flashing.
It went from slowly consistent flashing before, to now a solid light for a sec, then quick flashing, then random speeds of flashing...
Any other ideas?
Think it may have to go in the garage.
Different length of the flash is the code. So for example long is your tens and short ones is your ones. So for example 1 long and 3 short will be 13. Probably not exactly that, but basically flashing patterns give you codes. So either read them and then use google search to translate them or pop down to your local garage so they can plug in diagnostics and get the code which will point you in right direction. As it could be any airbag in the car (seats, steering wheel etc) and I believe seatbelt tensioners give out airbag light as well if they are faulty.

Not 100% but pretty sure it's 10mm.
Just take it off and measure it. Make sure car is cold and disconnect hose end that by the radiator cup and keep it up to stop cooling leaking from expansion tank. 2mins to do

Any updates on this?

I'll take double 52mm gauge pod. Will pm you in the morning when I have better signal lol

Take filter off and try to move impeller shaft by hand. If it moves, then your bearings are gone. Had this on my V2 twice then replaced it with brand new V3.

I'm not sure how it is for the LHD vehicles, but under the battery cover you can see wires going through grommet, you just make a cut there and pass it through, You need remove some panels under the dash to access it from inside.
yea, that's correct. That's where I put all my wires through.

Pretty sure it's the same? Can't remember now, I did mine 3 years ago.

Sorry no I still haven't managed to fix this. My next step is to send the speedo cluster away to be looked at, I just need to find a reputable company.
Probably would be easier, cheaper and quicker to find a Zed owner near by and ask nicely to swap clusters around to make sure it is faulty clutter? And then if it is, find a damaged Zed with similar mileage (I believe mileage stored in the cluster?) and just replace whole thing instead of trying to fix it? I'm sure Zedmanalex with have couple of spare ones, as well as Jon@Emperor, ClarkMotorsport or Keyser/Buster at Zed Shed.

Im going to be fitting a oil temp gauge at weekend. Im going to use the spair bolt hole above the oil filter and have got a m 12x 1.5 to fit the sensor. My question is should i use any type of sealent on the sensor to the block.
Can you please try to take a pic of that bolt above oil filter? Just want to see where exactly it is as might re-locate my sensor there as well.

I have one somewhere, driver's side I think in black fibreglass with a chipped corner. I'll try to find it tomorrow and send you few pics

oh thanks for heads up. As was thinking of using him. Will avoid now. Quite shocking!

A bit out the way, but Zed Shed is near Bournemouth and they know Zeds inside and out!

So is it safe to use in 350Z and better than OEM stuff? Over winter I will be preparing my Zed for track use next year, so would be good to swap for that stuff if it works and safe to use.

So to clarify Mark, UK DE owners cannot have the Uprev pops and bangs map due to ecu space. I've a 53 plate DE with cruise etc. Don't see me using launch like, but pops and bangs can be added by yourselves once mapping begins correct? just not the uprev add-on.
Pop and bangs doesn't class as upgrade. It's something Mark did him self (twicked map) to achieve this. So I believe pop and bangs can be added to a DE during normal UpRev tune

My supercharged z used to pop loads and spit flames lol
I think it was due to the high intake Temps as on wot the mix was quite rich keeping things cool but there was a lot of fueling going on
Needless to say it seemed to pop flames from 3rd to 4th quite regularly
Oh that's sounds good haha what exhaust system setup did you run?
Saying that, few people that followed me before did say to me that I popped a flame l, but obviously I couldn't see it lol

I took a before video and went to see Mark yesterday and was gonna take an after video. Unfortunate because I'm supercharged Mark couldn't do it like n/a car. He did explain it in detail to me which made sense, but I'm not gonna repeat it as its a bit technical and I probably will repeat it wrong
But it's still better than before...I think I've heard my Zed pop once during 4.5 years of ownership and since yesterday it popped quite few times now and then. Made me jump when it popped 1st time on motorway and it was quite a loud pop
I believe n/a car will pop more. Just don't expect it to sound like a 800hp 2JZ Supra

Yea I know thanks. Trying to see if I can get an used one.

Paint is cracked anyway and probably will flake off at some point, especially if you try to pop that sent out. Proper way is to take it to the bodyshop.

As per title, I need driver's side arch liner, front part. As my decided to escape while I was on motorway and died painful death

Chris/Bob, what about oil pressure sender unit?
-
Well that's not good...could've saved it for me

Do you still have sun visors? if so, how much for the pair?
