I did that about 7 years ago when i had got my purchased my standard 350z, went to a meet down Port Solent a week later with 50 Zeds attending....... Well it it didnt end well for my wallet

An all too familiar story. I've had mine 5 years and my first meet was a Wales Weekender, but the rest of the plot is the same

Some how I've paid and received 2 full car entry passes and im busy this weekend.

Sounds a great opportunity Nathan. Are you loking for a stock/standard car or one that's been modified?

I've known a number of people that have been quoted £40 to remove the head unit so the HU serial number can be read. Once you've got the SN then the cost of getting the code is free.

Would be worth confirming what the £40 is actually for as removing the centre console to gain access to the HU and SN is easy.

I'm interested in one of these. Is it possible to have it bare (no finish) as I will want to get it flocked with some other trim so it all matches.

Sorry Veegee, I think he/you may have been misinformed. As long as the Micra key contains the transponder/immobiliser chip, the reprogram procedure works and the key functions fully. I know the person I was originally enquiring for did this successfully and I'm sure it's been done since.

The guide linked to in the thread (and now conveniently placed above) reprograms the key including chip.

You can buy a used Micra key for about £10, get a new blade cut and reprogram it yourself (as long as yours is a UK car).

You can actually buy perforated underlay designed for use with AG when laying onto decking. Who knew such a thing even existed

Cheers chaps. Would I be able to lay it directly onto treated decking, or does it need a plywood base?

The area I'm looking to do is 7m X 4m which (after a quick search) would be circa £250 ish to fully cover in artificial grass. Given the amount of time and £££ it takes each year/18 months to re-do the decking, I didn't think that was too bad.

OK, this is about as off topic as it gets I know. But has anyone used/is using/has fitted artificial grass in their garden?

Got a large area of decking that is a bit of a PITA treating every year and was considering laying some astro turf on top of it. Just wondered if anyone had any experience with the stuff.

Could meet at Gloucester services on the M5 at 9:00am (between Junction 11A and 12) GL4 0DN

 

Can then take the A46 via Nympsfield and Kingscote, few miles longer but more fun than the motorway.

I'm up for this. We'd need to leave the services at 09:00 though to make the sizzler for 10:00 if going via that route, so suggest meeting at 08:45.
