Just look for JWL/VIA approval and you should be ok. The only thing with the wheels your looking at is that they are standard sizes. I'd be looking for something a bit meatier to fill out the arches myself.

Very nice and in the best colour GLWTS

I've had a cheap set of made in China Audi replica wheels fitted to the wife's Celica for the last 3yrs. I can happily confirm that they have been more than ok, given the times she has introduced them to a kerbThis is from eBays own site.
Replica wheels are made using the cheapest manufacturing method available (gravity casting). This is when molten aluminum is simply poured into a mold and allowed to cool off. This method results in a wheel that has lesser density aluminum, since no pressure is applied (most factory wheels use a what's called low pressure casting method). What this really means is that the replica wheels are much more likely to get bent or cracked, since they are made from much weaker, more porous material. We have seen this happen over and over again.
And it certainly isn't Casual Racism.
And where exactly in that quote does it say wheels made in China are rubbish?

I know they are expensive, but could still work out better than an import from the US, after you factor in shipping and import duty/tax. They also list different lower cost options, just trying to help
The Megan one looks identical with out the Stickers, the brackets look a little cooler too. £300, just got to see what Mail and Import will be like. They are £1047!

How many miles had the engine done? as stated before the Zeds timing chains are pretty robustSo I finally got my car back, turned out the timing chain was knackered. Thanks for the advice guys!!

Yup these definitely won't fit with the standard strut brace, main reason why i never bought it when i saw it on ebay. GLWTSOkay so I've realised after a little research that this will not fit with standard strut brace, so perfect for this with a new one or possibly tarmacs new design!

Whoa, that spin would definitely be a "Brown trouser moment"!

The best way would be to "piggy back" a second cig socket off the standard one and locate it behind the plastics. I did this for Zeus's sat nav, discreet and powers up/down with the ignition.I'm wanting to install a radar detector and not use the cig plug but to do a permanent installation with it up by the interior mirror and figured I may be able to pick up switched supply from the interior light. Is this a goer or is the light permanently live.

I live pretty local, you could put me down as a back up for the 350z coupe if they drop out if that helps?

Not so sure rivinuts would be strong enough on there own, they would normally be attached to a plate and bonded into the wing structure to spread the load.Use rivnuts to make the legs wider yourself?! Not sure how safe it would be

As already stated the Zed's a pretty heavy car and is not the easiest to achieve a fast launch. But get it right and she can be pretty rapid from a standing start, but your clutch won't thank you
