Rattle away! The finish will all be dependant on your prepping! Just spend a good time Sanding, then lots of light coats.

Don't use a wire brush on a drill as Keyser said . I'd use some wet and dry paper to prep them.

9.5j and 10.5j would be too wide with standard tyres, i run 9.5j front Rota's and a 245 is slightly stretched on them. a 245 on a 10.5j would be a bit much

Any local powerflow dealer/custom exhaust center would be able to make it for you, as stated by 14N it shouldn't be too expensive as there are no silencers required. Where are you located so people can advise of a good place?

I've owned a modded Gen6 GT for years (now the wife's car) and love it, wanted a GT4 but friends talked me out of it so got a Zed instead. Now i love my Zed but can't stop pining after a GT4 too much rally watching as a kid

And thanks back for all the suggestions guys, I did consider an Integra, a GT4 Celica amongst others - was even tempted at one point with a Focus RS Mk1 but they are sky rocketing price wise. As soon as I am in possession will put up a thread in the Other Cars section...

I've still yet to scratch my GT4 itch, maybe one day

Exactly what we all do, look for a "standard Zed" then mod it any way, i would seriously consider what mod's you might end up doing. It would be cheaper in the long run to buy a good car with some tasteful mods already done
