thx for that i needed a good laughBust some nut juice on em, might not cure the noise but your`ll feel more relaxed afterwards

I agree with Kyle ~ my 350 sounds much better with my after market Invidia exhaust system then it ever did with the standard Nissan system.
maybe i'm just too old and prefer something more subtle
-
They didn't try very hard because just about every exhaust on the market for the 350 sounds better, not to mention there really isn't any induction noise for the inclosed induction system.
i don't know i think the standard 350 system sounds better than a lot of aftermarket systems it was just too damn quiet
thats just an opinion not me being argumentative

i always service my wife's car before the mot so we dont get any suprises last year changed all the fluids/filters even did the brake fluid pads were low and discs were borderline so changed the lot
she had to take it for the mot as i had a delivery coming so i get a phone call from her she's at the test centre and they're gonna fail the car because they said the pads needed replacing and it's best to replace the discs at the same time
i went down there (luckily only 5 min drive) to discuss the problem, after discussing his parentage and my opinion on what tools in the garage i would like to insert into his various orifices i asked him to remove a wheel and show me the pads which were apparently down to the backplates he didnt want to do this and a short time later the owner arrived and the car magically passed i told him it was very nice of him not to charge for the mot and he agreed that that would be best
as you can guess i wont be going there this year

looks skimmable (not sure if thats a real word)I've put worse back together as is for the same reason skint needed the car
worse case is the clutch doesn't bed in wears out quickly and slips really depends on how badly you need the car right now and are you willing to ruin the clutch and have to buy another one
-
not much of an update as i had to rewire the mains in the garage as the new welder needed a 16 Amp supply
but did manage to get the maf/intake pipe finished just needs fixing brackets and cleaning up
need to make up pipe from end of this to the intercooler and turbo to intercooler and that should be the fabrication done
then i just need to sort out the plate at the back to protect the air filter, decide what i'm going to do about the pcv system and put it all together sounds easy if you say it quick

FAIRY JIZZ IS REAL!!!!!
I just googled that for a laugh.
From the urban dictionary;
a mythical fairy that visits males during sleep and sprinkles them with semen. the jizz fairy is used to explain nocturnal emissions (also known as "wet dreams").some years ago while down the pub with some mates after a few beers one of them admitted to having this problem on a regular basis
he said an elastic band wrapped around the end worked as the pain woke him up i didn't ask for details this was already too much information

perfect for me missus wont get in a car with me

I don't get why it's so hard to believe that people don't speed.
Really, you should be glancing down at your dash every few seconds (I won't put a number on it, but every decent driver will know what I mean) to not only check your speed, but also to check on temp & press gauges, along with other warning/info labels. Doing that, and having relatively basic throttle control, means it's virtually impossible to speed unintentionally.
It's not a case of staring at the speedo, nor saying that everyone does it so it's okay, it's actually perfectly possible not to speed ever. Its a conscientious decision in the vast majority of cases, whether that's because they want to go fast or because they're not paying any attention to the dash because they can't be arsed.
The worst thing to claim when you're speeding is that you didn't know speed you were doing. That's just as bad as staring at the dash all the time.
maybe you need to teach the rest of essex how to do this because like i said i'm on a tracker so i couldn't speed if i wanted to but when i'm on the a127 right on the speed limit a good 75% of people are overtaking me
and when i'm in the 30 limits right on the 30 i've usually got a big que behind me who overtake if possible usually giving me the finger

We are all guilty of breaking the speed limit at some point of the journey everytime we set out in a car, I'd be very surprised if someone can honestly say that they never stray marginally over the speed limit, we all do it. I regularly see marked police vehicles and even safety partnership vans travelling at slighty, and in some cases significantly, over the designated speed limit. Not in any way trying to condone speeding but there is a big difference between marginally exceeding the speed limit, for example doing 45 mph in a 40, than driving at over 60 mph on the same stretch of road. But unfortunately, whatever the circumstance, if you do get a ticket for exceeding the speed limit you have to take it on the chin
I agree any one who claims they never break the speed limit is either driving so slow that they are causing an obstruction or spending too much time staring at their speedo and not paying attention to the road
i work for a very big uk company and we have just got trackers and monitors for tracking our driving style our accident rate went up because people are spending too much time staring at their speedo's

had a bit of time to play this weekend so decided to fit the intercooler and make up new pipe to go from intercooler to throttle
fitted top (and bottom not shown) mounting brackets relocated power steering cooler
removed tank pump and pipework for headlight washers as they will be in the way of the pipework
machined plate to take maf sensor and made up most of pipe
and then my welder started making a strange noise and blew up in my face literally so much for all those safety cutouts.
so not only is my welder completly screwed the bit of it that hit me in the face cracked the screen of my auto darkening welding mask
so while i was throwing a tantrum and smashing the rest of the welder to tiny tiny little pieces and cutting my hand open in the process

pretty sure it's just to shield the evap emissions canister from the exhaust heat
This methinks. When I had a zorst fitted I'm sure they had to remove it.
Was it a Scorpion system, as this part does indeed need to be removed to fit the Scorpion...
I dont think i'd personally take it out completly if it was in the way of an exhaust system as it shields a charcol filter which filters the vapour from the tank so potentially quite volatile i've replaced mine with a smaller ally shield

problem could be lots of things pressure sender, oil pressure relief valve, oil pump, bearings you could always screw a mechanical oil pressure gauge in instead of the pressure sender to check if the pressure gauge is reading ok
and if it is that low i wouldnt be driving it anywhere these engines arent cheap i know i've blown one
