  1. Oh, however the new advice is NOT to simply ignore it - that is old advice. You should respond using a template provided on MSE - but identify yourself as the Registered Keeper - not the driver. If you have a receipt from Halfords, showing the goods/services purchased, that also helps for some reason...
  2. Certainly don't pay it - get onto Money Saving Expert as there is plenty of good advice there.
  3. Thanks Alex! For reference (if anybody else needs this information): 55226P - Toe bolt - £14.44 55226PA - Camber bolt - £11.02 If required washer - £8.30 (WTF?!) Nut - £2.57 Cheers, Dave
  4. Are they the same bolt then? Or slightly different shape/design? As I'll just get the cheaper one if they are the same - something tells me I doubt they are the same though? David
  5. Brilliant Alex thank you! So from the diagram the parts chap gave me, that'll be either 55226P or 55226PA? Many thanks, David
  6. Hi all, Could someone please tell me the nissan part number for rear toe adjuster bolts. Every search I've done inevitably leads to Eibachs or other third party stuff specifically for lowered cars... I just need standard Nissan oem part number to give to the parts desk - I rang them earlier and they seem to think I'm talking about part number 55424 in the below diagram (but is willing to be proven wrong)- is that correct? Many thanks, David 350z rear suspension.pdf
  7. Thanks for the replies - Usually there isn't faint whine that I can hear (not to say there isn't one, i've just never noticed it). Now though, the (rather loud) whine is either constantly there, whether the head unit is on or off (as can be seen from the video), or, the whine is absent, whether the head unit is on or off (at which point no sound comes through the speakers anyway, whether the HU is on or not) This is leaning me towards the amp then, as Mike says it is always on - so if it's playing up the noise will either be there or not - regardless of the HU being on or off... So... 1) Just to clarify, are we talking about the amp in the boot or behind the driver's seat 2) In the meantime, is there a fuse I can pull to kill it until the weekend?? Many thanks, David
  8. I must admit I'm not sure where the buzz is coming from. I thought it was coming from behind my head (I.e. The sub behind the driver's seat) but after moving around the car I'm no longer sure. I'll have a cracking at disconnecting the amps
  9. Right, played around this morning and not much success. Putting a CD in, and changing between the AM/FM frequencies made no difference. Then just to confuse matters further - I restarted the car and the noise disappeared - the stereo still didn't work despite being on (as if there was no power to speakers (and I heard a 'thump' noise - like when you plug a microphone/amp jack into a speaker). Makes me wonder if it could be a loose wire or the amp or such? Any suggestions? Thanks again, Dave
  10. Please can someone help diagnose this noise and tell me how to fix it?! I do a 35 min commute twice a day and it will send round the bend! Seems to be radio related as when the radio is working, the whine would disappear. But lately the whine is permanent... Nissan 350z stereo/speaker whine: Many thanks, Dave
  11. unlikely but have you tried turning the bulb round as led's are directional, have you checked the switch in the dome light ( not turned off ?) Gixxer you hero! That was exactly the problem, all sorted now (just bad luck to put the one LED in the place of a broken bulb the wrong way round). However, both LEDs in the dome have a constant (very) faint glow - even when the car is turned off - is this normal?? Dave
  12. Bulbs arrived on Saturday thank you. 2 problems though (none of them your fault) 1) Turns out I have the JDM vanity mirror lights, so those leds are stored for the time being (I'm such a prat for not checking first - just assumed mine would be UK spec!) 2) My left dome light doesn't appear to work, it didn't work before which I assumed was down to a blown bulb, but still didn't work when I changed the leds over. The right side still works as it should. Does anyone have any pointers for me to fix this?? Dave
  13. Could I have an interior full 350z set please? Kind regards David
  14. Hi Ian, Would love one of these, please let me know when you re-open your list. Many thanks David
  15. I have the exact same problem, did cleaning the connections solve this?? Can they easily be accessed? ?
  16. Oh I'm based in Corby (boo) but work in Northampton. My better half works in Leicester and I went uni there, kniw it fairly well
  17. Agreed about Zeditis, but thankfully the car came with a stubby ariel, so there's that one sorted. Although pointless as the radio won't play sound while the engine's running lol
  18. Hi all! Well just sorted my Christmas present this year, picked up my Azure zed from Trade Link today! (Many thanks Greg!) I'd stick a pic up but the weather has been crap, and the car became filthy on the drive back up the M1 lol. Coming from French cars, I'm half expecting something to break or fall off, hopefully this feeling will pass... See you at the fuel pump! David
