    First thing i would do is check tyre pressures. If spot on, inflate one bar above recommended. If that fails...drive faster!

    Always 97ron+ by myself and the previous owner (whom i knew), only use 95ron if caught short and have no choice, only a tenners worth though to get me to garage that stocks 97ron+...its what the petrol caps says...so i do it!

    I love the colour. Had a 231 RX-8 4 years ago in rare 'Nordic Green' - this looks very similar! Styling not for me but paint/interior combo...big thumbs up. Looks a minter too.

    Lovely!...Did you get the AA van to follow you just incase Looks cracking in black, good choice. You need to take a hacksaw to the aeial though!

    Sorry but its quite an ugly wee duckling at the moment, like the other guys said once you put your mark on it and give it the kiss of life you'll have a cracking individual zed that you'll no doubt be proud of! Having Chilli Red as a starting point you can't go wrong...very rare...and fastest!

    Thanks for the replies chaps. Would a bearing noise not be constant? This is more irregular and only when i turn left. It must be the handbrake, i'll have to strip the disks and clean up. Mods - feel free to move if this is becoming more brake technical.

    The handbrake was ineffective when i first put everything back together (as well as the noise) so i stripped cleaned and tightened up the handbrake. Handbrake now on the money but the noise still there!
