Thanks guys. Just glad that they didn't edit out the forum link to be honest so hopefully more people can find their way over here

I was asked to do a bit of a write up about 350Z ownership for Pistonheads; it was published this morning

I was at Oulton this week in one; 172 Cup base but with an LSD, decent coilovers, R888 tyres, stripped, caged, uprated discs and pads, buckets, harnesses, decat exhaust and air filter. The cornering speeds were incredible, and despite it being obviously slower than the Zed in a straight line nothing bar race cars passed us all day. Ive been looking at them myself for a track car this week as well now!
Oulton seems a popular place for clios, I was there on the 16th and there was loads. There was even a v6 one there but I didnt see that out on track.
I'm currently considering a DC2 Integra or Clio 172 as a track car for myself as it would make more sense than the mx5 I've currently got because then at least I will also have a car with some luggage capacity and some back seats.
Thought about a Puma 1.7 as well? I've seen a few of those, plus my missus' dad has one sitting rotting SORN on his driveway which would be perfect.....

The car is now sold :-)
Were you happy with the price you got for it?

Sorry I couldn't resist!

I look forward to seeing what else has been done in this thread every morning
Are we close to having it fired up for the first time?!

I haven't watched the video, but I did read the article; I imagine that the GT3 would feel sublime to drive with that howling engine revving all the way to 9k, but the Aston & Ferrari would sound incredible! then again I am a sucker for a V12. Cant pick one though!

Could be worse...
I tried price matching a smaller place's price with a larger online seller (yellow and white colours on the website... ) and they said an hour later that on this occasion they wouldn't price match. When I went to buy them from the smaller seller, they said "Thats funny, we've just sold them all this morning"!
That made my blood boil haha

nice read that, thanks

Has anyone ever driven their 350z down a country road with new rear tyres but older (still 5mm+ tread) fronts? That will show you how archaic the TCS is, and terrify you when it slams on the front inside brake mid corner! Despite the car being fine with the TC off, I changed the front tyres a day later.

Awesome Looking forward to seeing Ian and other club members at a Drift event next year.
I find it amazing how when fellow Zed owners come up to you and talk in a car park, not one of them has been a member on here, or even knew of its existence. So many of them tell me about horrendous bills from Nissan and all you can think is that they should've ha.
Hopefully publicise the forum as well as helping out Bizz at the same time.
Well done to everyone involved

Thanks guys
Thats interesting that the comments are about the third picture; my favourite was the second one

Ive had Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2s for about a month now, and already I am very impressed with them. So much adjustability mid corner compared to my previous setup of track-biased Federal 595 RS-R, and grip in the wet (as well as clearing standing water) is on another level. I'm yet to feel the car feel anything other than 100% planted, and I really cant imagine how the MPSS could actually have any more grip.

In the latest EVO issue they review a white one and the lights have a carbon fibre surround; I disagree and really like the look of it
And the car as a whole is absolutely stunning, probably enough of a looker to make potential customers write the cheque (or sign the financial arrangement) without them even thinking about the fact that the engine is borrowed from a Giuiietta.
In fact... I really want one now

jjt very nice video mate and driving aswell. Looked like a great day out
