Another thing is remember these cars are expensive to run just because they are coming down in price to buy they are are still just as expensive to run

If a dealer doesnt prepare a car before the test drive it probably isn't an easy fix else they would have fixed it before anyone viewed it. Walk away and try a few before you buy one

This happened to me on Thursday but with cement luckily it washed off but that's not the point, people don't seem to care about other people property any more. Iv said this before but it just seems you can't have nice things anymore because people just don't give a toss. I took the issue to the boss of the company who lives nearby just so he could ask his workers to be carefull or even ask me to move my car off of my private drive before mixing cement to be told these things happen, it's difficult to say what to do really

I appreciate how difficult it is we were the only house it is adjacent to and the splash was quite obvious, just someone to say sorry we splashed your car rather than having to go outside to find it like that

Came back from working on the house to find the zed with about 20 small cement splashes on it from where workmen had been working on the road/curb next door, car was on my drive well out of way and nobody was around luckily I carefully washed it off and there seems to be no damage just a pain in the @#%$ that despite being at least 10m away from my car it still managed to get it on it and didn't say anything about it or even ask me to move my car if they thought it might splash that far. Just seems you can't have nice things these days as no one respects them

+1 It's about the whole experience of owning the car for me An r34 is on a different level to the zed, even stock they often exceeded the power that Nissan quoted

I did a lot of reading before I bought listened to a lot of sound clips and spoke to quite a few people, and in the end decided hfc were the way to go, no worries come mot time, less chance for cel without uprev etc. I knew more or less what it should sound like with them from clips but you can never really tell untill you hear it in person. I shall be doing my own video clip in a week or so when everything settles down

To keep the car as original get a plate welded in and tap the thread if you know a good welder fixing the original shouldn't be a problem, just don't get them sandblasted as I said earlier they can be quite flimsy, as you said sanding primer and painting if you go down that route.

They are pretty easy to change as long as you can get underneath 4 bolts in the center and two at each side, there is a plastic cover at each side also with some small 10mm bolts be sure to work them out as they shear off quite easily if they are corroded. I have seen people just rip them off and leave them off but I wouldn't recommend that as I'm sure Nissan put them there to stiffen up the car in the middle.
