  1. Yeah, Arnold clark? the bulk car shifters? no, they won't, it's a down point for selling, "oh? i have to pay extra on super? don't want the car anymore" Don't rev the car much until you can get super in there.
  2. I agree it's likely a nod to the US for these reflectors, where they are, one way or another, required. However, i think replacing them with clear ones on my white car would be a good move.
  3. Depends on the price shipped to the states
  4. Any good place to get clear reflectors at? the ones i've seen are kind of spendy.
  5. Hmm, that'll be interesting to have mapped. I too am getting a "postal" map from Abbey, i've just got to get the datalogging run done. It'd be interesting to see how it differs to the UK cars.
  6. You might be referring to GL5 gear oils, they contain additives that cause premature wear in yellow metal gears. Also, what's this molyslip additive, has anyone noted any difference when adding to Nissan oil?
  7. Nope, 1st and 2nd, obviously below though
  8. It's quite literally that, one RON different. It's ever so slightly less resistant to detonation.
  9. I have to say that changing to second is fine when cold, but i did find that 2nd doesn't appear to 'feel' straight back from 1st. To better explain it, if i pull back to 2nd in what feels like a straight line then it will try and clunk/refuse to go in correctly, but if i pull if back to what feels like half way between 1st and 3rd, then it slips straight in, no problems.
  10. Yup, glad you updated it with the fix as well, thank you, so few do so. I did think bearing at first as well, but as you checked it when straight, it's all i would have done as well. Good to know you need to check it when locked over. I think one or both of my rears might not be so well, i can hear a slight version of this but only at 60 and above.
  11. Yup, genuine 75w85 worked well here, but selecting 1st when stone cold without being at almost a complete stop is almost impossible
  12. It does sound like the wrong oil to me as well. Do you not change it yourself?
  13. Bit of a thread necro, but i wondered if anyone could tell me about the plenum spacer, can you run it without modifying anything else? tune etc?
