ok this morning i left idling for 45 mins i found that both fans are working and no overheating but also noted no warm air from the heater fan can anyone tell me where to bleed this from ? thanks

good evening while sitting in traffic today temp gauge went into the red and steam from under the bonnet,left in parked for a couple of hours then got it home,all ok while moving probably because its so cold today,just had a quick look again left it running on the drive once again temp goes right up and the heater in side the car only gets luke warm would this be an air lock ? the other thing i noticed is that the radiator fans do not come on any advice is more than welcome

hahaha nice replys (my apologies for posting this here but i know the members here know their motors)! 5 door (i need to get my road bike in the back and the annual camping kit) high mileage not a problem= she does 7 miles a day to & from work but needs fsh needs all the creature comforts would like heated seats & leather prob prefer diesel no kids she likes the protective size of the Rav so prob.needs to be another 4x4 Jap or ?

the wife needs a new motor at the moment she drives a Rav4 02 plate and would love something similar have a budget of 10k an expert advice/experience is more than welcome Honda/Kia/Toyota/Hyundia cheers !

owned the car a year now and just noticed that the red door lights don't light up i haven't had time to investigate today so i thought i would ask are they meant to ? or are they reflectors or need to be enabled ?

a bit of info had the car a year last month just after i bought it i was given a company car but after a few weeks driving the Zed i was not going to be selling so i have only done 3500 miles in that time and for the last 2 weeks has not moved started up last weekend just to keep the battery charged and then sat for a week before a 25min drive for the MOT so after the fail today i did phone Mark at Abbey and he suggested i took it in for a check because as you rightly point out it needs to have them cats warmed up (which i bet the mot station didnt do) ( just thought i would post on here to gain a bit of knowledge and advice) especially as the fist thing the guy said to me was " what a lovely looking car"(which i kind of took as "i aint seen one of them before" )! oh dear so i think the best thing i can do is let the proper folk have a look and at the worst way a new sensor is around £180 Mark says next time ill take it to someone who knows the car
