  1. Hi folks,

Its with a heavy heart I'm selling my 350z. Most genuine reason ever (at the end of post)

    Spec:

    2004 UK GT

    12 months MOT (20th June 2014)

    6 months tax

    57,500 miles

Good service history. Last couple carried out by myself as I've always maintained my own cars.

New front brake discs (<1000 miles)

    Brake Fluid Flush (<1000 miles)

    Power steering flush (<1000 miles)

Leather seats treated regularly with Z9 and Z10 Zaino products and look great

    Modifications:

    Cold Air Intake

BC Coilovers (covered <1000 miles - very comfortable on the soft setting)

D2 Adjustable Camber Arms (<1000 miles)

The following components have all been installed but to the FRONT only, the car is sold with the parts to complete the rear but I just haven't had the time to fit them sadly)

Full Energy Suspension Poly Urethane Bushing kit - this includes new Poly Urethane Banana bushes so that this common problem should never return (<500 miles)

Hawk HP+ Front Brake Pads (<1000 miles)

    Goodrich Stainless hoses (<1000 miles)

    Easy Bleed Caliper 'Nipples'

    Bad points:

Absolutely nothing major but mentioning to be completely honest:

The rays alloys could do with a bit of love, sadly all previous owners not me :)

There is 1 tiny ding from a "car park arse" opening their door onto her

There are a couple of what I can only assume are hail stone dinks on the boot. They are nearly impossible to see but I mention them as I'd be annoyed if someone didn't and I went to look at at car and spotted them.

Little wear to the gear knob and to the drivers door pull plastic

    Small wear to drivers seat

    No finance, all HPI clear

    Sale includes:

    Car

Rear Energy suspension bushes with instructions

    Rear Hawk HP+ Pads

    Rear Goodrich Stainless Hoses

Car can be viewed in SY21 (Welshpool) or RG4 (Reading)

    £6800ono - I need the drive space free :)

Bushing and suspension alone was over (£1k)

The reason for sale is 6 months ago I purchased this and just can't justify keeping the Z as well, despite running the two cars and taking the Z out more than the AM recently and actually enjoying its current setup more on the twisties than the AM :-O

  2. Hi folks, just wondering if this is normal behaviour on a car

I've replaced the clockspring on my 350 as I carelessly killed it last year when I rebushed the steering rack. All went well, there's only one place all the cables can go and the new clockspring is the exact same part number so it's not that.

However, when I reconnected the battery everything on the car was off and all good and charging, I turned the ignition to test the horn but the the battery was still too flat. I take the key out of the ignition and every time the charger trickles, the headlight relay tries to initialise the lights. I've taken the battery completely off the car and its charging in the garage.

I'm assuming this is down to the battery being flat and the electronics getting confused? So I should just wait it out?

In the interests of science I removed all the connections and indicator stalks, clockspring and dial power and the car repeats the same as above..... Just interested really if anyone else has seen this odd behaviour from a flat battery?

  3. I had one and loved it. You have to replace the factory water temperature sensor/gauge and keep an eye on everything. In 5 years, short of mods and maintenance, mine cost me nothing!

Best looking car I've ever had!

  4. For me, the Zed, I'd probably rather walk than be in an ST :) (No offence to the original poster - I had an XR3i when I was younger and chuckle about it but I put them both in the wideboy category)

However, to answer - the ST would probably take the 350 and no one would care :)

But its ying and yang as far as I'm concerned, zed every time :drive1

  5. I'm really getting into rum, trouble is rum really gets into me

Worst case was new years eve about 3 years back when my friends found me naked behind the sofa at 7:00am after thinking I'd been running around Cardiff naked in -12 conditions for a few hours..... I'm not normally a menace with drinks but my friends now feed me rum as they say it makes me insanely happy :)

Sambuca and that sticky stuff... .bleh! :yuck:
