Looking to get a service done in the next few weeks, just topped 50K on my 07 plate. Nearly 9K since last service. I believe that the P3 service was done but not by a Nissan main dealer so was thinking of having a top service done from FCM Motorsport in Bristol who will do a sports service for £350. They require the car for 2 days and I wanted to check if:

a) they are well known and good

2 days sounds about right or is overly excessive

My previous car Ford PUMA use to have a same day service, I know it's nowhere near as complex but thought a day would be long enough.

The sports service covers:

engine oil and filter (semi 10/40 or fully 10/50)

spark plugs

air filter (or clean after market performance filter)

pollen filter (if it has one)

anti freeze

g/box fluid (castrol)

rear diff oil (castrol)

brake fluid (race fluid or standard dot 5.1)

check all lights and levels

check brakes

check tyres

check suspention (espesially front tie bar bushes)

Any advice please?

Arent red stuff pads for track cars and not road cars? I thought they were ceramic?

how did you prevent the spray from getting on to the paintwork or glass?

will try cleaning it again and will spray from a further distance. is there any harm if I don't get round to doing this until the weekend do you think?

is this product any good as I think it was the AG product that caused the problem in the first place

Hi All

Wondered if someone would be able to advise how to go about removing the following marks from my canvas roof.

I believe that this has been caused by the AG roof cleaner product and am hoping that its pretty easy to remove. I have washed the roof with Megs and the marks have returned this morning, they are not that bad but are annoying me more.

I tried Megs Metal Polish on my headlights yesterday as I have a similar issue on both drivers and passengers but the polish didn't seem to make an difference. Do it take a long time to do this and is it a case of just perserverance?

i reckon some Wet Glaze 2.0 would make the car look seriously wet.

she did and it was, so was very happy. Lusso is wicked Wax as well, even put in on with my hands, smooth as silk they are now. lol.

my BOSE skips in the cold and takes time to warm up usually 10 minutes and then its fine. seems to be an undocumented feature with the BOSE systems in ZEDs.

Bought some Lusso Oro Wax today, going to use the WG2.0 and then lock it in with Lusso.

Hoping the weather holds for the weekend.

Also going to wash and protect the RAYS with some Poorboys Wheel Sealant.

Any advice?

I think this is the dirtiest she's been, this was coming back from a detailing seminar at meguiars, weather was really bad and driving down country roads for a pub lunch after didn't help, by the time we got home it looked like I'd been rallying, she was cleaned the next day though lol
