  1. Hi All.

I always like to give companies a shout out / recommendation when they provide a good an cost effective service.

Anyone in Bristol that is looking for a good reputable company that are more than capable in doing work on their treasured 350Z's would do well to give Karman Autocare, Albert Road, St. Philips a call. They have just fitted my exhaust and sorted out the clicking rear axel issue and I am more than impressed.

They also sorted out my brakes and replaced the bushes back in the summer. I am planning on taking my 350 there again next April for it's MOT.

They have a full diag kit and engineers that are trained in it's use.

Full servicing may be a bit of a tall order for them, but everything else is doable.

Hope this helps someone out in the Bristol area.

    Cheers,

    DC.

  2. bought the Cobra Resonated back box from CS a few days back and it is certainly an improvement on the OEM. I didn't think it would sound much different as it's not the full system, but it does. The sound is more "Throaty", nice sweet spot at around 2K revs as well.

  3. don't spray copious amounts of de-icer, just a little spray and a cloth (jeyes cloth is what I use) and then wipe the residual fluid over all your windows and it doesn't leave any gunk on the screen and works very quick. Front heated screen seems to warm up quite quick, but nowhere as quick as my old Ford Puma did.

  4. was noisy but the guys at Kwik Fit said that it sounded like how a 350Z should have sounded.

We located the issue and they didn't charge for the inspection. Just ordered a Cobra Resonated Backbox from CS on here would definitely recommend them. Having it couriered to my garage of choice and then they will fit next week. Don't intend on using the car much until its sorted. The guys at Kwik Fit said that depending on where the hot exhaust gases are leaking from it may affect the bodywork, so best to err on the side of caution. They said that the blow on mine couldn't be welded as it was from the connection and quite a large hole had developed.

glad to hear yours has had a temporary fix.

  5. Hi All.

Noob question. My back box (OEM) has been deemed as "on it's way out" as there is a hole where the flange meets the back box (apparently quite common).

If changing the back box will it change the sound of the whole system or do I need to look at buying a full cat back system for this please?
