  1. hmmmm. I've just been through this process with my TT.

I put it up for a high price, with the mods still on (nothing crazy: Remap, rims, lowered, few carbon bits, induction etc) and got the full price. In fact i got a grand more that i paid for it 2.5 years ago!!! :scare:

There are definitely people out there who want one already sorted.... So i would say try it with for a while first...

As long as it's mint, low miles and looks improved, as opposed to modified ;) i think you can shift it.

  2. Ha! I'm REALLY trying to not get carried away with it this time

Got a Pop charger coming from America, Tax disc holder coming, and i'm going to get some spacers....

Was going to get new bulbs, but sounds a nightmare having to take the wheels off to change them :surrender:

That will be it for now, i'm skintos!

  3. Congratulations on the buy . Any plans to modify it at all?

Yep :) Will be a long term project, but i've never managed to keep a car standard yet

    Immediate priorities:

    Spacers

    Induction

    Aerial

    Then later:

    Plenum spacer

    De-cats

    Remap

    New Wheels

I'm just delighted with the car as it is for now :)

  4. Just got back from monsoon condition Glasgow where i collected my first Z!!! :yahoo:

Took a slight risk as i had put a deposit down without seeing it, but i just knew it was mint from the pictures, and talking to the owner, but OMG is it a minter!!!! :scare:

It drives like a brand new car, honestly!

41k mile UK GT Absolutely spotless inside and out.

I am fully in love :cloud9:

Here she is when i collected her:

Many, many, many more pictures to come :)

    Buzzing :D

  5. Always been the same with big engined cars, yeah the petrol increase has made the depreciation speed up I admit.

I'd put it up for 9,000 or just over if its in top condition considering it has FNSH. The jap imports are still going for 7,5~.

Going for, or up for? I haven't seen an import actually sell for anything like that...

  6. Ahhh, you got then one eh? I was gonna go look at it today

    Fortunately, i've found another :)

    Congrats :D

Ahh, are you the chap from Blackpool by any chance? He mentioned someone else was interested but I always take that with a pinch of salt

Apart from the whirring noise (which Ive posted a question in general about), really happy with the car overall. I was tossing up between an e46 M3 and one of these but defo think I made the right choice! It has got a major service coming up too, but I factored this this when making the offer ;-)

    haha, yep that's me.

I had 3 cars lined up to look at today, that one, then one in leeds, then Rotherham. Every one sold

Fortunately got one lined up now :)
