Why is it called a pop charger and not just an induction kit like it is for every other car? Looks and sounds good though
Not sure.. Just a name
It's a great price for what you get compared to induction kits i've bought for other cars. Cost me around £100 delivered from the states after the VAT and parcel force's wanky charges
It really does sound amazing, the turd iphone video doesn't do it any justice
I'm delighted with it. It's been really hot last couple of days, and i've not seen any noticeable drop in performance at all, so it can only get better

There was a guy on the TT forum who made and sold these....
-
Hmm, i'll get one and have a go and report back
-
One of the things I loved in my TT was the rubber gear gaiter...
Looks much better than a baggy leather one imo
Has anyone tried to fit one of these? Not tried measuring or anything yet, but i'd like to get one in the Zed...
-
+1 on the pies
-
Yes, too many people get caught up chasing 1bhp or something unnoticeable from an 06 airbox when you can lose 2bhp by fitting a popcharger and suddenly the car seems so much better.
Yeah, it was massively hot today, and there was no noticeable drop in power, like you say, the noise makes it feel +100 BHP Every Zed should have one of these

Fitted a Popcharger today....
The sound is absolutely immense!!! Much louder than i expected, the car sounds amazing now
and a crappy video from my iphone
Love it.

WoW!!!!
looks exactly the same as every other 911

I've got Yellowstuff on OEM discs, they are excellent pads imo. Work superbly when cold, are silent, and not much dust. I'll use them again for sure.

How much would a semi automatic handgun type go for? If you could knock them out for £50 or so, you might make a killing (pun intended)
I saw the videos of these on youtube and sent it to all my mates, who got far too excited about them
However, i think they should be sold as a kit with instructions, so you have the fun of making it, not a fully assembled gun....

Treated the seats with liquid leather too, she's looking fantastic!

Mine has those rust holes in them...
If fact a lot of the stuff under there looks like it was part of the titanic!
Might get under there with the Waxoyl before the winter

Yeah. No problems at all.
Instructions you get with it are good. Basically remove airbox, unbolt MAF housing from it, then put filter on and fit Heat shield. Anyone could do it in 15-20 minutes
