Very interesting factoid re the 370's learning ECU. Skynet @*!#! Looks like I'm just going to keeps things simple and modular for the time being and start by replacing the exhaust and leaving the cats in place. No uprev or intakes at this point - if it works nicely then I'll be done with it. If not I might explore more options... Thanks again for all your help, will let you know how it sounds over the weekend. DT p.s. Looks like there will also be a 370z nismo for sale here soon, any idea on value @ 7k miles? Should I of uograded my panel filters when I changed the exhaust then?

Interesting points, particularly on induction. At £460 the K&N is a bit flipping toppy as well. Might just do the panels but I'm not even sure if they add any real value (apart from being non-disposable / washable). The only reason I changed the panels was on advice for the least restrictive airflow to go with the Berk/Akro combination prior to Uprev, the advice was from a more than just a knowledgeable member, but from someone whom I consider has some expertise, ZMANALEX, who's my dad BTW ( he won't mind me saying that) Have no idea if it gave me that extra gazillion HP or not but I took the advice and for not much money, got them, then gave them away doh! Wait wait wait.... Zmanalex is your dad gman ?????? Well I never. That must make you jesus!

I would just change the system - well I have... And I am doing it again in Saturday. I have a stillen and moving back to my old friend cobra. - which I loved on my 350. I have alllllleays been put off with decat/HFC due to the CELs and other things that change when changing those components

Hi all, As you may know - I purchased a Stillen cat back system from another forum member in September last year - http://www.350z-uk.c...t-back-exhaust/ I am considering changing it for something LOUD! The note on the stillen is great, very sporty and only comes to life under load (above 3k revs). therefore city/low speed driving is comfortable. The system has done around 23k miles since new. I am looking for what I paid - £600 @Mods - not sure if this is acceptable - I am hoping that my plate (which is my username) is enough to let this go through as the system is currently fitted to my car. any questions - please don't hesitate to contact me. a video (it had to be tame, it was taken in a waitrose carpark! )

Hi All, I am aware that there are a number of threads relating to the cobra system for a 370z - however they are pretty sporadic and are not very informative! I currently run a Stillen system which I bought from another forum member - great exhaust, very well built, OEM look and lastly of all sounds fantastic (not too loud, nice sporty note). However on my 350 I had a cobra system and LOVED it as it was LOUD!. What I am trying to understand is whether the 370z system sounds as good as the 350? If people could add their opinions on the sound and if you have a video that would be amaze! I have done the usual youtube..forum search etc but the quality/volume of videos is not great.
