  1. Am I able to get just a muffler (backbox) on its own, there is an engineering company very close to me who would be able to bend some 3" piping and fabricate the rest of the system to fit.

Would be cool if i could source something such as the Agency Power back box on its own then fabricate the rest. (Y pipe back)

  2. Mine arrived yesterday, sadly about 5 mins before I had to go out.

Had a quick go at fitting when I got home, all hooked up didnt have power until I started the engine which is obviously too late as you cant turn the engine over before you do the initial setup. I took it all back out and will have a look again in the light tomorrow (and with the help of a small person to go under my dash haha) I think that the loom section was not pushed in tight enough or something. Like I say I will have a look tomorrow.

    Bloody efficient delivery though

  3. how broken did he get out of interest?

    edit:

On 16 January 2012 Jeb suffered multiple leg fractures in an accident while BASE jumping with a wingsuit off Table Mountain, Cape Town, South Africa. He appeared to strike with his feet, probably pulling up to make the edge, spinning 30 meters out before deploying his chute. He was airlifted out by the Red Cross Air Mercy Service Augusta 119.

  4. et40 is a very very weak offset lol. I do love the SP1's though.

Such an annoyance that proper wheels are so insanely expensive.

Im not a member of SXOC so couldnt see the wheels linked, but i did read that they are 12" wide. Which makes me want to see them haha

  5. Well from looking at the site they have done a lot of fairly nice cars i.e. multiple c63 amg mercs. I too have been looking at these guys in the past for a custom single exit option (just never got round to contacting them regarding prices) but they have various options on ebay where you "win" the auction and they wil do you a custom exhaust to your specification ranges from a shade over £200 to nearly £600 (I think that is for a dual system).

They also say lifetime warranty on their work so cant imagine you can go wrong really? Brum is a bit of a trip for me or I would have gone up and had a look tbh.

I too used to have a VX220 (NA) piper catback system and on occasion I would fit the decat pipe but that was silly loud haha.

  6. I had a similar experience on Friday fitting my coilovers, only managed to do the fronts as i ran out of light but things just didnt want to come undone :( did manage it in the end, however couldnt refit my strut brace as the threads on the top mounts stick out further than oem shocks so im going to have to cut a bit out of my strutbrace in order to fit (id prefer that to cutting down the threads on the top mount).

plenty of knuckles lost in the process and managed to get a huge blood blister by smashing it on the edge of the disk undoing the bolt holding the brake line to its bracket.

  7. Oh i completely agree that JDM stuff is better im not saying that it isnt, its just that once you have finally got the product in this country and paid everyone for all the handling and deliveries and taxes it works out to be so much more. :(

If I lived in Japan I could get Work wheels for a reasonable price along with all the other stuff I could ever want, pretty sure we dont have anything they want for trade haha

  8. ooh choices choices...I havnt really changed my mind on the buddy club id still love one but im feeling the single exit. Just dont really understand why a single exit is priced similarly to dual exits when they must be far easier to manufacture.

Im trying to be a cheap bastard currently as i have just bought decats and coilovers

Edit: That agency exhaust, is the whole thing Ti or just the backbox?

  9. Now I was originally looking at a scorpion a while ago, however after talking to them at autosport (on the trade day) they really didnt want to give me the time of day to chat about anything, so am a bit reluctant to give them my business I know it sounds petty, but considering the calibre of other companies there who were more than happy to talk.

The exhaust is £374 but they don't produce a Y pipe either do they?

So what is my best option for a Y pipe out of interest? Is the japspeed one terrible in some way? Is there any other similar priced alternatives?

    Cheers again

  10. I meant Y pipe back inclusive of the Y pipe, I guess i should have said cat back lol.

I dont really have thousands of pounds to spend on a system. Was thinking I may just buy a japspeed K1 but many people on here seem to have had fitment issues.

For a japspeed Y pipe and exhaust it comes in at a total of £430 which is pretty cheap, not entirely sure what other relatively cheap options there are
