Shelling out on new front discs, pads and rear tyres to get the car sold but think I'll go down the used route for back box to mitigate against bankrupcy! Guessing a few of you out there will have upgraded and have an old OEM box that's surplus to requirements

Like many a Z, mine developed a front suspension squeak when cold. The cause is often a compression rod (aka banana arm) bush. ZMANALEX sorted me out with pair of new bushes - thanks! . The squeak was from the drivers side but thought I might as well have both sides replaced while the suspension was dropped. Old ones here. Spot the squeaky one!

I've used my Z as a daily driver for the last 5 years. I do ~10k miles per year. It's been cheaper to run than I expected, owing to the bullet proof reliability. Sure there are cheaper cars to run but as said above why not arrive in style! You should be able to get 30mpg on the motorway if you drive appropriately. Go for it you won't be disppointed! It's alot of car for what they go for now.

Thanks for the warm welcome all And thanks for the link Martin. I had spotted this option, the $419 puts me off a little (+ shipping no doubt)! There's also a rack from boofsquire which would work out cheaper but it looks a bit flimsy. I might put a post up to see if anyone has one and how they have found it.

Hi, Some little **** keyed my Z above the wheel arch. Luckily it's only one panel. I've tried to T-cut it out but it defo needs a respray. Can anyone recommend a resprayer in the Herts, Beds area? I've got a couple of quotes so far, best is £150. The car is kuro black. Thanks.

Hi! That was me! You were looking good too. I was just on my way back from having viewed an E46 M3 down by Ascot. I've had the Z for 4 years, love it to bits but now starting getting the itch. The guy selling the M3 has just gone on holiday for 2 weeks but I'll get an inspection done when he's back and if that works out OK I think the Z will be for sale pretty soon thereafter.. Thanks for the shout!
