The plastic speaker cover is def easier to get than blanking plates or alike!
I picked one up off eBay recently but any jap dismantlers often have them in stock!n parts Gateway found a few for me but eBay was cheaper at the time!
Meanwhile a non-gt is probably a better starting place as you don't have the crap Bose stuff to start with!
You should be able to build a simple mdf box to house then run an amp in the other bay. If you decide to go both subs (what I've got planned) then I'm putting the amps in the back with a custom build underneath the strut. But depending on amp size you may be able to mount them in the cubby holds, under the chairs or possibly boot floor

Thanks octet - going to order up some samples today!
Originally was going down the pearlescent white route with gloss black, but these new matts look great and really different!

Really looking forward to the final result! Hoping to go down a similar route (different colour) as you. Keep trying to book in with Taras but I keep running out of money! lol Bloody house and holiday!
It will get sorted soon

If it's a mobile unit, you can try going down the calibration certificate process.
It has worked for my partner in the past
But she did sort of still learn her lesson and it's still wrong! two catches later - one let off and one "driving awareness" course and she now drives like a granny.... but I'm still scared
-
Generally I'm getting around 24mpg unless it's pushed and as others say it quickly goes! Lol
18mpg with the pedal to the metal and on times worse!

Totally off topic - Apologises
But wow! That looks gorgeous! Think I made the wrong choice with colour!

Just sent pm!
If available ill take off your hands!
Can the sticker and z badge come off easily? Going for less is best approach
-

I know this is past date - so fear not...
But was just wondering - was this for a club stand as well as track time? or just track time?
Went to JapFest 1 and saw you lot (cracking cars and missed the chance to be on stand...

Hi Alex
Great news - finally found it! Eureka I'm saved!
Now I've just got to build up the courage to try again!

Hi all
I've been spraying my steering control surrounds as they were all manky.
However on trying to refit I've just lost one of those tiny little yellow pins (anyone know what I'm on about) that are used to push the micro switch. It's literally just vanished in the steering wheel - no rattle nothing
Does anyone know where I could possibly get one from? I'm desperate!
Thanks in advance!

Looks superb - exactly how it should have come off the factory - looks so much nicer smooth
One question - hope you don't mind me asking where you got the number plate holder from? After something like this myself
-
Yup, you should. You need to declare absolutely everything that changes the car from how it left the factory: Whether the insurer cares or not will be up to them.
As above.
Seriously? Now I know how insurance companies make their money! Do i need to declare when I change bulbs as they aren't factory ones? I've also got a magic tree to declare!
Looks like I'll be phoning in the morning then...Fingers crossed I'm not ripped off!
Ekona - thanks for heads up!
Bobby -£60! Ouch I love how we have to pay because we're adding safety! Wonder how much my first aid kit and extinguisher adds! Lol
-
Mind me asking why you've swapped to the pop charger?
The typhoon looks great by the way!
-
Didn't think you'd need to declare these would you?
Just finishing my install off - wired to ignition, fused and a switch just in case they annoy lol
-
Looks superb - somwant to try mine now!
Mind me asking what prep you did to the console before wrapping?
Did you smooth it with filler or literally wrap the console as is? Worried the surface wouldn't take the wrap very well.

Did anyone ever hear back on this?
Jez did you get back to anyone/everyone?
Just I never heard anything back

I've just done a little wee......
God I so want if I just had those funds - miss the turbo!
Though think I'll be going sc this time (limit of money!)
Can't wait to see the final results
-
Hi Jez
Just wondering if you had the Bose speaker cover and tweeter pods available? Money ready
-
Well I tried these chaps and well let's say I'm totally gutted (I fear the sear filter couldn't handle my real comments)....my pride and joy looks worse than my falling-apart 15 year Ford Escort!
The car looks considerably worse now than when it went it - in fact totally ruined! I just don't know where to start!
There's so many runs, the chips and scuffs on the sideskirts haven't been filled - just sprayed over so stand out, the front nismo skirt has stalactites from paint run, they've over sprayed onto my carbon scuttle panel and the boot smooth looks like it's been sanded down with a wire brush!!
And I stupidly paid as they promised to resolve this next week - why was I so stupid! I'm so furious and gutted
Giving them a chance next week to resolve but not holding out....

Can these be fitted underneath the nismo front skirt?
