Hi
Spotted the RVGA (think that's right) matt black wrapped 350Z in Alton Towers car park - parked 2 rows behind you!
Hope you managed to get on more rides than I did on the weekend! well cheesed off with the amount of people and the whole 7 rides

Anyone know if it's much more work to just remove the whole cradle, bluetooth, etc.
I've fitted a Pioneer F930BT and therefore have no real need for the rest
Also hoping to remove the Bose setup shortly.....

Just found this - not quite what I'm looking for but getting there!
-
You star! and thanks for the ultra quick reply!
Wonder if I could get the cupboard bit off a non-GT and replace the bose setup then... or at least part of it..

Hi Danny
Once I've finished my installation I'd be more than willing to help out - based in Bridgend/work in Cardiff

Hi All
Does anyone know whether I could possible remove the bose sub and replace the space with the cupboard (just like the passenger side)?
I'm then planning on moving a decent (or better) sub to the rear boot
If it is possible then does anyone know where I could possible pick up the parts to do this?

Well I turned up by didn't see anyone
Was worth a try......

These still available? if so please add me to the list

Hi All - well I've had the car for some time now, posted a few times on the site, bought some bits & bobs (not fitted yet!) so thought it was onyl fair to get some pics up!
Think this is the right section but apologies if not (didn't want to resurrect my ancient "hello" post in welcome).
So here's Kenzo - my 350Z GT 2006 with factory Nismo kit
For the fine-tuned eyes among us you'll notice a Scorpion cat-back exhaust on the rear - this was already on there prior to the purchase. Now I've got a new stereo, plenum, tonnes of carbon film to go on and a load of ideas - just need the time and weather!
Hopefully it'll be going through a colour change real soon (vinyl wrap) - especially having come from a Jaffa Focus ST (320bhp!)
Enjoy anyway!

I was more worried about the custom made 6pot brakes!
I'll have a go at most things but don't fancy playing with brakes - I know I'd rather a brand I kow! Lol

What I used to do with the Subaru (previous car) meets was to meet at a venue where we could park up, grab a quick bite to eat/coffee and talk cars. Then perhaps head off for a spin somewhere thereafter. That way those that need to make a move can split early and others with a bit more time can add some miles to their zeds
Hi notfub
That's exactly what I was thinking! Fear not - tis what I used to do with the FFOC so sounds like a plan.
Thinking about it maybe I was bring a bit adventurous for the first meet for a Brecon trip or similar? Maybe we should just try the meet bit first!
So how about we all meet up at say j33 services at 3ish on Sunday 2nd oct - can have a chat, see the cars get a tea/some food and go from there - there's plenty of places nearby for a bit of a photoshoot or food

Which weekend aren't you available? I've got two options down

Hi All
Having now had permission from Ian to organise a mini meet I thought I'd get the wheels in motion and see if we can get our heads together and organise something!
I was thinking of arranging a mini meet one Sunday afternoon (end of September?) where we all meet up and then can go for a leisurely drive through the Beacons or similar? Maybe we could even stop off for a bite to eat if people were interested?
I'll need to look into the route but have used some before for another car club I help with.
But was just wondering what the interest would be like? I was pencilling in 25th September or 2nd Oct premlinary

Excellent news!
No rush if you've got other things to do - but if you've got one I'll take it off your hands whenever suits you
Thanks

BulletMagnet - they look awesome! The exact plan I have!
Meanwhile thanks both for really useful information - didn't expect responses so quick!
Thank you (and keep fingers, toes and god knows what else crossed for me! lol)

Love threads like this - tis great to see the progress on one thread!
Mind me asking where/how you got the plenum polished? this is something I'd like to do along with the carbon cover

Hi All
I fancy having a go at di-noc 'ing my door leccy bits as they look tatty as ever! If it works then I'll do a few more bits (like b-pillars, struct brace cover, etc.).
However having not done it before I was wondering if anyone else had and would share some knowledge on the topic. Fear not I'll never (nor want to) go into mass market so if any of the pros want to help I'd be grateful
Couple of queries - do I need to really stretch the di-noc over the bits? do I really need to heat gun if I've got enough vinyl?
Finally with the door bits being a bit "rubbery" do I need to sand these down first or can I apply the vinyl straight to these after giving a good clean with alcohol wipes or similar?
Sorry there is so many questions!

Wales meet
in Wales
Though I'm a newbie to the club, I'm more than willing to try and organise a small South Wales get together if I was allowed?!?

Marzman - oh didn't think of that - that's a good idea (and easier to do!)....
Kevlo - I bought them off Ebay Taiwan - fai rplay they arrived quicker than 3/4 of the stuff I order form UK suppliers and really well packed!
Here's a link: http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Corse-Autospor ... 34.c0.m322
Hope this helps

Hi All
Purchased some DLR side markets for my uprev model and just wondering if anyone could give me any help/guidance on wiring them up to the ignition "on".
I.e. I only want them to come on when I start the car (I'm actually also going to put a switch in the circuit to knock them off when required).
How or where can I access the ignition live in the engine bay (as I don't really want to have to the one off the stereo).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance
Craig

Thanks!
