  1. OMG How do people even make money from these!!???
  2. Oh man!! I paid £2.14 for mine! I guess you got the best deal at 44 pence cheaper...that's one lost packet of crisps for me! Link is as follows: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0301648089 Thanks to was8v for sharing!
  3. Yep that's probably one of the reasons... Does hard driving cause the calipers to chip also? It's also weird how the Zed's Brembos overall seem to be in mint condition compared to other car's brake calipers
  4. Hi all, When I was searching for my Zed, I went to see a few. I noticed some brake calipers were spotless and some calipers were chipped and in overall bad condition. Why is it some calipers get damaged more than others? Does it depend on the way the cars been driven? The mileage? Thanks guys, Hassan
  5. Thanks lads for the great find and sharing this info with fellow members! I have just ordered myself a tin on an impluse from the link was8v posted Appreciate your help
  6. Sorry for the late reply, I've been busy with family during the past few days. Thank you so much for all your advice Chris, Tim, Dblock, Ricey and Peter!! I have taken all of your advice and decided to go for a Kestrel as its the cheaper option than the G220 and on the description it mentions: 'The DAS 6 offers an ideal introduction to machine polishing, it’s dual action is safer for novices and far less aggressive than a standard rotary polisher. Ideal for removing minor scratches and swirls, the DAS6 provides superior results over hand application. The DAS 6 is fully compatible with Pads and Backing plates for the Meguiars G220 and the Porter Cable 7424.' That is exactly what I was looking for! Now is there anyone that could point me in the right direction of finding a cheap one? The best price I have found so far is £84 including delivery. Also, can you please advise me on the correct pad and compound to use? I'm after something that will remove light swirl marks but not be harsh enough to damage my paintwork. Is there any places I can purchase them from? Your help is very much appreciated Kind Regards, Hassan
  7. Thanks for your reply Chris So what you're saying is your polisher is probably made by the same company as the Sealey ER1700P but just been re-branded? The ER1700P does not mention anything about 'hot spots' or doesn't use the word 'orbital', what does that mean? One massive benefit about the ER1700P is that it's very light weight apparently (2.2kg). what is the 'normal' weight of a typical polisher? I've never used a machine polisher before and fear of damaging my paint if I used something too 'sophisticated' for me. Does it matter what make it is or do they all do the same thing? I really appreciate your help Kind Regards, Hassan
  8. Thank you for your reply. Yes Sealey does seem to be focused more on the trade rather than the consumer. I've tried searching all over the internet for reviews on the product with no joy Either I get a Sealey one really cheap or get something like a Meguiars G220 which looks more or less the same as the ER1700P. I have dropped Tim a PM, hopefully he wll have some experience with them! Thanks again for your reply Hassan
  9. I've looked at the following Sealey model numbers: ER1700P ER230P ER150P ER1512P CP2518 Are any of these good?
  10. Hi all!! I am planning to purchase a waxer/polisher/buffer today but it can only be made by Sealey due to work reasons. I am looking for something that is safe for my paintwork, as I don't have any experience in machine polishing any of my cars. I want something that will not end up taking my paint off but effective enough to remove swirl marks/blemishes. Any suggestions? A model number/name would be great! Your help is very much appreciated. Hassan
  11. I bought a keyring last week, it was about £15 including delivery. It's a white diecast Nissan 350z model keyring (1:64 scale) made by Autoart, who are well known for the quality of their products. The attention to detail and quality is amazing, they have also made the interior look real too! On the box, it has the Nissan logo and states its an officially lisenced product. I thought of having something different rather than the typical metal keyring everyone tends to get. I am really impressed with the purchase! I have attached a few photos for you all to look at: Enjoy! Hassan
  12. Get a Toyosport one. Brand new will be less than that. Yes there have been a few fitment issues reported but have been very minor. A few members have fitted these on successfully including me. Looks and sounds very nice too
  13. I would definitely go to an exhaust specialist and get it fitted. You sure the mechanic tried hard enough? Everyone's had minor fitment issues, that's what you get for buying a cheap exhaust. Once fitted correctly however, the noise and looks are perfect! If you ain't far from Santa Pod, I can get one of my boys to fit it for you?
  14. Thanks for your reply Lee Is that a bad thing? Is it a big job? I was thinking its a heatshield too! Initially I thought it was a release bearing, but that shouldn't be rev related should it? I'll have to sniff around and see...don't worry I'll try not to poke my hands around in the wrong places I got a new exhaust system fitted on a few weeks ago, can this be related to that? Any other possibilities?
  15. Hi everybody! Recently I've noticed a rattling sound coming from the engine bay area of my car between the 1,000-1,100 revs mark. First I thought it may have been a throttle/clutch/thrust release bearing or something along those lines, as I only heard this noise as I was slowly releasing the clutch pedal closer towards biting point. It is very noticable when near a wall or in tunnel as the sound echoes more, sometimes I can hear it when driving too and sometimes I can't. Over the last few days I've noticed it only happens between 1,000 and 1,100 revs, so I'm sure that rules out clutch issues? When you rev the car and let the revs drop past that rev point, you hear the rattle. Same with it going upwards past that point. What's the possibility of it being a heatshield? I really appreciate all your input guys! Hassan
  16. I bought minebrand new from Sturgess Nissan for £84 with a one year warranty. I'm sure they have some more left if you were interested? The ones I watched on Ebay went for around £75 and they were used!!
  17. Thank you for your reply, I will check it out today. also here viewtopic.php?f=35&t=8312&hilit=manual%60 Just checked the packaging that Nissan supplied with the adapter. It only had 1 sheet of paper explaining how to pair it, that's it The link you just sent is what I found a few minutes ago, thank you!! That explains how to do it very well!
  18. Thank you for your reply, I will check it out today.
  19. Sorry for hijacking your thread, just a quick question. I've heard the module has the capability to store contacts for voice activated dialling...how do you do this? Many Thanks, Hassan
  20. Does the noise sound rattly? I think that's the issue I'm having! Thought it could be a loose heat shield or something... Labour wise how big is the job to replace the bearing? Thanks, Hassan
  21. As you already know, I've been having airbag light problems. I fiddled with the middle connector under the passenger seat then did the reset. The light went away for about a week before activating again. This time I thought I'd secure it properly and see if it helps, upon doing the reset again the light went for a few more days and came back on again! Any suggestion? This is really frustrating me now Thanks guys!
  22. Right...I've finally bit the bullet and gone for a brighter silver than standard with some metallic mixed in (course). The pictures are attached. Thanks, Hassan
  23. The guy who's refurbing my wheels is suggesting a 'hyper silver' with metalic effect. He will be making me a sample tomorrow. Anyone got pics of this colour? He says its a couple of shades darker than the original.... Thanks guys
  24. I was just speaking to my neighbour, he suggested going for a really light silver (lighter than the standard Matt silver on the RAYS at the moment). He says the wheels would look much larger and show the curvature of the spokes really well. He also suggested adding some metallic to it to give it the sparkle finish. What do you guys rekon? Has anyone got any pics of light silver metallic wheels?
  25. Do you have a picture of this Pearl Panther Black colour?
