  1. I have looked everywhere (my350z and google) and I cant find any settings for Zeds with Coilovers and such. Is everyone being secretive???

I will shortly be installing coilovers and I am just wondering what settings should I be aiming for with regards to toe and camber?

I am looking ideally for effective track/fast road settings not factory settings? Is there any difference with the said setups.

If it matters I also have Eibach front and rear anti roll bars off ZMANALEX. Coilovers will be HKS RS.

    Thanks

  2. Can I join in. I have had this specialized fsr xc comp for just over a year. It has been great fair play. I am fortunate to live in the Afan Valley so I am very close to Afan Argoed and Glyncorrwg. I don't know if you know about these but they are really good (and a bit scary ;) ). It was nearly 10 years since I had ridden a bike until I bought this one. I dont remember the hills being so tough haha. I did have pics on my other memory card that @*!# itself so its a good reason to take more. :D

  3. You could use any All Purpose Cleaner but for it to work you need to use a brush like a nail brush. No need to scrub it to death but you wont clean the texture by just wiping it. The brush wont scratch either incase your wondering. But when you do clean the plastics, Aerospace 303 Protectant is amazing stuff to use on them.

  4. Wow what a nightmare. I got mine done today and I got told they were the wrong nuts too. :bang: Atleast the guy pinched some off a Micra. Most of my knocking is gone but not all of it. It will do for now though.

All I needed to know was the size of the nut but part numbers cant do that. Gay

  5. Well after spending a little fortune on my detailing collection I cleaned the interior of my Zed today. The products I used were aquired off a local professional so may not be recognised. I used vibro sol APC, 303 protectant, Auto glym Fast glass, and a nail brush, a microfiber cloth and halfords own window cloth.

Sadly I didnt take any befores as I didnt expect the seats to come up as good as they did :D

I used the APC with the nailbrush to work into the leather and wiped off with the microfiber cloth. This turned out to be very effective and was a top tip from the pro ;)

I then treated the seats with Dr Leather wipes.

I also scrubbed all the plastics and doors with the APC and brush. After that I sprayed everything with the 303 protectant.

Then all the glass was cleaned with Fast glass and Halfords window cloth. The cloth is simply amazing. No hassle with streaks at all and is so fast you wouldn't believe it. Then I hoovered.

Notice the cover I have for the gearknob  Everytime I clean it, it doesnt take long to get greasy again. So I protect it with the cover. Kind of defeats the purpose of having it I guess

  6. Well I went to the dealers armed with the part number. £1.25 each but they have to order them in :headhurt: Getting them on Saturday I hope. The guy did say the part number has changed. It was now 089112421A. Probably varies dealer to dealer mind.

    Thanks for the help guys.

  7. The garage I used is an Indie Nissan garage. I will go to the dealers with the part number above cheers. If no luck I'm heading your way ZMANALEX. :p Its amazing where all these prices come from. Sometimes I am left lost for words.

  8. My garage was half way through stripping the banana arms off to change the bushes when they got stuck getting the balljoint nut off. They mangled the nuts in the process so I need new ones. Nissan want £38 each for them so does anyone know the size of them so I can get them at a normal price?

    Cheers

  9. Cheers guys I used Meguires pads in 4 inch size. The blue one and red one. With the blue pad I used meguires 83 polish and with the red pad I finished with 3m ultrafine. Real easy to use.

I am waiting on 3m fastcut so I can tackle the paint as megs 83 takes way too long. It will be like christmas next week with the amount of stuff I am getting.
