  1. as title does anyone make a fiberglass boot? ive seen the siebon carbon ones but i just want fiberglass help...
  2. proper cant wait!! just need to sell the other zed to pay for the rest of it
  3. been mega busy in the garage with customer work so not touched mine, now the drifting season is nearly here its got me motivated again, well jelous really that everyone else is out having fun and ive got half a useless car. so... im robbing a few bits of the daily 350z and selling it so i can plough some money into the drift car, no one needs 2 350's, its just plain greedy. had the wrong engine delivered for a yaris today so it left a hole in the diary, in comes the 350z the cage is virtually done now and the weld are primed as they were getting surface rust on them, just need to clean up a couple of the welds. still got absolutly loads to do but im going o try and dedicate more time to it so i can get it done. anyway heres a quick pic... also the engine choice has returned to a jz, yes i no i change my mind alot but it seems the obvious answer, just need to source one
  4. in standard form i think id be happy with around the 7k mark. need to have a proper think, like you all say tho the only way to do it is remove as many fancy bits as possible. let the offers for parts begin haha
  5. think thats the answer then, swap everything i can over and flog it standard... i love it tho grrr
  6. viewtopic.php?f=20&t=43965 thats the drift zed, basically just a bare shell with a 90% finished daddy cage in it. so lets say it had all standard arms, suspension and wheels on it. still had the brides, nismo kit and carbon bonnet, how much roughly you lot reckon then? could maybe sell the bonnet if someone would swap with a blue one. hmmm, decisions decisions

  8. dont post on here much but could do with everyones knowledge please... considering selling my daily zed to fund making my drift zed, question is im not sure what price id put it up at/what its worth?? also whether its worth me taking all the fancy bits off to use on my project one and sell it as standard?? if i had more money and didnt want to drift so much id keep both but if i do that it'l take me ages yet to finish the drift one. spec of the daily... its a 54 plate with 19k on the clock!!! but unfortunatly its a cat d repaired carbon bonnet tein coilovers blitz nur spec exhaust works kai wheels quite a few adjustable arms bride seats nismo kit i think bad bits... passenger window doesnt work lights on dash, traction, abs, airbag (doesnt bother me as im a 200sx man anyway so never had those luxurys) front bumper has a crack in it so what do you lot think?
  9. well seen as all ive done on my project zed is strip the bitch out ive felt most of the weight!! wiring looms, theres fooking loads, as said the seats etc, all the rear parcel shelf kinda metal bracketery. i cant wait to weigh mine when its done.
  10. didnt see the girls no. not sue what ime it was i went, only drove through tho really. mines blue with a carbon bonnet so give me a wave if you see me about
  11. not me but ive been to xscape today in the zed and spotted a black one that had been modded abit
  12. another very small update, went drifting today in a friends car so that spurred me on to have an hour on it when i got home didnt really do alot but most of the engine bay is now stripped, it went from this... to this... still doing more research on it but its looking like the engine choice is going to be a 2.8 engine out of a bmw e36 with a turbo bolted on for somewhere in the region of 5-600bhp.
  13. gotta spread the word about my slow progress lol what you doing on here...turning to the darkside?
  14. any of these anygood? firstly... works kai wheels, 18's (i know you want 19's) secondly... volk ce28n 19inch, not a mark on them but i only have 3
  15. very small update for a change... needs a few more gussets finishing off, then tying in the shell in as many places as possible. its getting there tho, gives me abit of motivation again only to be knocked back by no time to do anything as per usual.
  16. work kai wheels, they are for sale for the right offer
  17. i'll take a pic and stick it up later. ive got some basic nissan diag software and nistune but a mates got the cable at the minute thanks
  18. got the same code coming up on mine, lookd at the abs pressure sensor and saw a connector broken and disconnected near it, black one end and grey the other??, pinned it back together copying the wiring off my other zed and it turned off all the lights on the dash that were lite up so was well chuffed. went to drive home and it just kinda goes into a sort of proper slow limp mode and the traction control light flashes up??? clutch in and it'l rev ok?? just disconneted the pins again to come home so i'll have another look tomorrow but have you any ideas??
  19. there bride brix, black with grey centre in pretty good condition. undecided yet but i can always be tempted by good offers
  20. sell one and put 2 on the back and get 2 different ones for the front? i thought that but they need tyres anyway so for now i'll just hold onto them i think. they are all bronze and a fairly similar design tho so could leave current rims on the front with the 19's on the back maybe
  21. any more info on that fix?? was it actually the brake light switch??
  22. got 3 x 19inc volk ce28n (think thats what theyre called), undecided whether to search for the 4th rim and put them on or sell them?? also got a pair of bride seats with rails in it that im contemplating selling and sticking standard ones in, not sure yet
  23. @*!# progress, not alot to see but here you go main reasons for slow progress is too much work at the garage and also everything thst ive done so far is sooooo time consuming e.g removing every bit of sound deadening and drilling a million spot welds out to remove all the unneccasary @*!#! as i said on the welcome section i like them so much ive got another as my daily now
