quick peek of the daily... yes i know it needs cleaning!! just changed the balloon rear tyres to those in the pic temporily, need to stick some lower profiles on the front, roll the lip on the arch, lower it some more and stick some 25mm ish spacers all round

i wish i had too much time on my hands... i'll be knocking up a list of bits asap, want to get the road zed split mint, altho im sure i'll be tempted to slide it before the others ready haha im up at slide now, set off at 5am upto scotland for the car, back at the garage now, just going to swap a couple of tyres on it, stick a stereo in and probly fix the window then i need to pipe up the intercooler on the rb25 rx8 tired is not the word!!

ye im sorry its slow aswel but customers come 1st. the white rex is one of the slidemotorsport cars that'l be seen (freshly built and painted) all over this year, its a very good friend of mines car who has @*!# hot fabrication skills, he does some work for me here at slide. that will be painted up to match my drift zed when i everntually get chance to finish it. also keep your eyes peeled for the other slide motorsport car which is an s14.5 with 430bhp rb25 fitted, that'l be driven in pro bdc this year by owner jo fletcher.

never introduced myself last time. bought a rolling shell of r35lee last month to build a silly drift car, progress is very slow on that due to being to busy at the garage. but... ive bought another now to use as my daily, put the deposit down last night and im off to pick it up in the morning, cant wait!! i'll get some pics up another day but its got a few tasty bits on like works rims, bride seats, nismo kit, carbon bonnet, coilovers etc etc need to get some work done now to pay for for it!!

exactly my thoughts im 'matt' on sxoc, ive spoke to you at mallory before tho i think. sorted the cage im getting, hopefully get that in the next week or two but its a animal of a cage built originally by custom cages. 8 point, fia approved, a piller gussets, all the extra support bars so when i crash it wont hurt too much and yes lee, it will be turbo'd see you sunday mate

reliability is one of the main things i want, v8 would be awesome but i just havent got the money to do that at the minute. if i go with an rb it'd just be a 25 for now, i just dont no what to do!!!

100% agree and what your saying a rolling shell is, obviously its just bare basics to shift it. i only suggested the ebay one as it a cheap option maybe. ive got limited knowledge on the zed's at the minute but im sure all the suspension bits pull decent money 2nd hand anyway so its never going to be cheap in my opinion. i break 200sx's as a living and it aint worth my time trying to sell a rolling shell as stuffs worth more in pieces. the brembos on the 350 are worth more than an sx or rx7 rolling shell

rb will definatly fit. more experience playing with sr's and when i planned it out i had an sr sat in te garage that would of been perfect, thats in a customers car now tho so not sure what to stick in it yet?? im up for ideas.... i am getting more and more tempted with an rb but we'll see. if money want an issue it'd be having a 2jz

as title does anyone know the flow rate of the standard pump?

the one on ebay is a full car starting at 3k, think i saw it on pistonheads advertised at 3.5k. so you dont think a complete rolling zed is worth 3k? you cant just remove engine and interior out of a 10k car and it be worth peanuts...

arr right, hey up mate. ye gaz is turning that sx into a nice car...when he's not crashing it! ye you'l see it about, except the obvious fun side of the project one of the main reasons for building it is it'l be a rolling advert for the garage. defnatly having it road legal aswel!

theres one on ebay at the minute thats had a smash at the front thats at 3k, cant see that fetching too much money

time for me to start a project thread! after selling my last drift car, the s14.5, to fund living it up in aiya napa all summer and setup costs of the garage the time has come to start building something new wanted to do something a little bit different that would get noticed and altho i love sx's i just couldnt think of a way of making one stand out from the rest plus ive been there and done that so a 350z seemed like the perfect option. i couldnt afford a full car so started looking for a damaged one or a rolling shell, except the totally written off ones on ebay there wasnt much about that i could find.eventually got talking to lee (r35lee) off here who said he had the perfect car pictures will be better than me describing it but its basically got a little bit of roof damage and o/s/f wing is fooked. the cars 100% straight chassis wise tho. im having it minus the engine , gearbox and interior.he's delivering it to the garage next sunday so then the madness can begin basic plans are to strip as much weight out of it as possible, full cage, custom wiring looms, all the safety gear and probably an sr20 :wack: engine choice isnt 100%, all kinda depends on money in a couple of months time when i come to fitting it, its got to be around 400bhp tho

any others people?

cheers for the welcomes, ive been searching abit on ebay but there all abit too pricey for what i need. basically it'l be a drift car for next season but i wont be using the zed engine. do engines, interiors and all standard bits i wont be needing fetch decent money? i could tell you what every single item on an 200sx is worth but 350's are new to me. cheers for the pm, i'll give you a ring later
