  1. Gosh this is like one big group therapy session I like it Pretty much the same as above, I hate 2nd and 3rd lane hoggers doing 60-70mph; the only reason German autobahns work so well is because the people using them have good lane disipline and move over once they have overtaken. Usally 'white van man' who flicks on his indicator for a split second thinking this gives him the right to pull out into the smallest gap in front of you in the 3rd lane without checking his mirrors forcing you to slam on the brakes. I will always allow others road users to pull out it front of me to keep the flow of traffic going but only when it is safe to do so. It maybe just me but ive seen a massive drop in the standards of driving in this country, more so down south; more undertaking/overtaking manoeuvres, More tailgating and more people cutting you up. I from Portsmouth to Cheshire most weekends and i'm lucky to escape alive sometimes as something will happen during every journey!
  2. Its going to lots of sleepless nights until you pick up your Z. Enjoy it mate
  3. Its going to lots of sleepless nights until you pick up your Z. Enjoy it mate
  4. I've had a TT roadster in the past. As Mike said, you won't be disappointed
  5. Nice motors mate; love the sunset colour on the Z but im with you on the wheels, a little too bling What would you replace them with?
  6. Enjoy your new love affair with the Z mate. Don't be suprised if your home from work takes twice as long; detouring to find the best roads
  7. Very nice! I bet it looks even better in the sunlight.
  8. Hi Dave Do you have any pics of the beast?
  9. Hi Have you got any mods planned for your Z? Any Pics? Al
  10. Gutted i missed that meet! Give us a shout when your having the next Portsmouth meet. I'm in Portsmouth and it would be good to meet up and chat with a few of you guys.
  11. Those 370 wheels look fab on your Z, very nice!
  12. I prefer my 350z over the early 8 231 i had a few years ago for several reasons. I loved the 8 when i had it, great fun all rounder and i never had any issues with it. It didn't use any oil like some have reported but i thought to myself if I'm paying for 19mpg, then i might as well get a more powerful car with more torque. As previously mentioned the 370 is classes ahead of the 8 in terms of fitment, power and drive ability, some referring to it as a baby GTR. Write the check for the 370z-you won't be disappointed .
  13. Welcome:wave: Ditch the V-tec mate, i ditched an S2K for the Z and i haven't regretted it. Good look with the sunset search.
  14. The same issue regarding registration happend to me aswell, strange. Nice Z though mate, it looks like your a dab hand with the polish cloth.
  15. Congrats! I love the 370 in white, especially with anthracite coloured alloys. Do you have any upgrades in mind?
  16. Thanks for the warm welcome andylb- I found the S2K to be a better compromise as an every day drive over the elise i once had. The steering of the S2K is direct but lacked feel/feedback at times although the gear change is more precise. It did get a little monotonous having to rev it to exploit the power but once in the v-tec range the car transforms and goes mental which is good. Shame about the lack of low down torque but i suppose that's a characteristic of the v-tec engine. I prefer the more weighed feel of the Zs steering, the increase in torque lower down the rev range and the more progressive feel of the rear end when driving on the limit of grip. I suppose it comes down to personal preferences and individual driving style, but in my opinion, the Z is the best choice and I LOVE IT! A pic.
  17. I thought i should say hello as a new member of the forum. I've had my Z since October 2010; my previous car being an S2000. My Z is a 2004 GT uk model, Ive added a Japspeed K2 exhaust with Y pipe which which as you all know gives a lovely 'burble' sound at higher revs. I have already taken advantage of some excellent advice from this forum so keep up the excellent work and if i can offer any advice from my limited time of ownership then i will do so. Alan
