  1. Genuine Nissan 350z reverse sensor kit, complete, boxed and never installed. All instructions/templates etc are included. The sensors have been professionally sprayed in sunset orange (never fitted though) so ideal for an orange zed or you can always respray them. £50 + P&P
  2. D1 Spec throttle controller, haven't has this for long and was my favourite addition! Makes a great difference especially for the small cost. It's been removed due to returning car to standard for sale. Good condition and works well. Still have boxes etc although I'm not going to try and fit everything back in them! £75 + P&P Note, it looks like there's a mark on it in the picture under the mode button however this is just light reflecting and in real life it's spotless.
  3. Nurrish sat nav, removed due to putting car back to standard to sell. Good condition, I wired a remote switch instead of the big bulky one in the middle of the screen normally which looks a lot better. Works well, when I first got it the sound output from 3.5mm jack wasn't that great but I've never actually used it plugged in, it has a fm transmitter and also it may have just been the lead I was using, thought I'd better mention it though. All in all a great sat nav/computer unit that looks great installed. Has an input for reversing camera also, but I can't be bothered to remove the actual camera from my car so you'll have to get one off eBay for about £15 or so. £150 + P&P
  4. Forgot the link; http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0905652582
  5. Now on eBay classifieds as well as Piston heads.. was hoping it'd go to someone joining here though
  6. I assume the Logitech Harmony 1100 like this; http://www.logitech.com/en-gb/remotes/u ... rmony-1100 I will be selling these soon too. I use a Harmony One personally at the minute. Is the Unity better? Not better, different. The logitech should be relatively straight forward to use if set up properly, however whilst they are easy to program, they can be difficult to program for completely fluent operation. The unity is iPad/iPhone control only, the Harmony is RF with a physical remote which can sometimes be an advantage. If you want iPhone control then the Unity will be every bit as good as the Harmony but is limited only to an iPhone/iPad. But if you just want something easier to use then I don't think it's a whole lot different and mostly would come down to programming. I don't think there's a whole lot easier to use than Logitech without going down the custom professional route. If it's a serious issue and you don't mind throwing some money at it then I'd suggest ProControl but this would cost about a £1000. It's bloody awesome and can do a lot more than turn the TV on, but depends how much you use your remote and how much value you give it. I can install these with my other company, but as I say it's not cheap and you can't buy them off the internet. It's excellent value when you start adding in lights, projector screens and blinds etc though. Try downloading the Unity iPhone app to your phone and look at the demo, it'll give you an idea of what you can do with it and you can see if it'll look easier to use than the Logitech
  7. Cool and ignore the shipping to UK only info, for people I know, if you want anything I can ship to Canada (or deliver it myself and not come back ) Daryl, the unity remote is a great little device for the money, quite flexible too as you can program your own custom IR devices.
  8. Just had a go at "blogging", not much of a writer though but if anyones considering multi room audio this might help, hopefully http://tech4homes.wordpress.com/2012/09 ... solutions/
  9. Would make some awesome car/bike following footage. I want one for filming my enduro practice days at a mates farm, but in reality I'd probably just crash the drone into the van then spend the day sulking
  10. Thanks guys (n gals) means a lot, hopefully if this takes off I can get myself back in a zed soon (mines for sale ) As I say, keep checking regularily as products going up all the time, I'll be posting regular product updates on facebook too so once you've liked it you'll get regular updates (with best intentions not to spam you all!)
  11. Just cleared this with the mods, I have recently started a new company selling home audio, technology, gadgets etc online. My other company is a custom installation company offering multi room audio etc so I can also help with advice if required, not just selling boxes with no clue! My website is http://www.tech4homes.co.uk I am happy to discuss items further with 350z-uk forum members if there's specific items you're looking at. I appreciate this isn't for everyone, but could you do me a massive favour and like and then share my page to start spreading the word? It only takes two seconds and you'll be helping me out. Visit Facebook Page I can get many, many more items than this, especially with home audio, consumer electronics etc... I will add more as the days go on but if you are looking for anything specific just ask and I will tell you yes or no and a price. I am also a Canton and Focal distributor which means I can get all of their car audio range which may be of interest to people here. I won't be listing them on the website but will provide quotes on request Focal make some awesome stuff for cars.. Anything I can do, just ask
  12. Hey, personally I'd steer clear of the chinese copies, not sure how well they'd put up with "action" recording, all depends what you want to record really. But with regard to the microphone, no need for a second camera, you can use an external microphone with the Go Pro I found this on a quick Google search, may be what you're looking for!? http://www.southbayriders.com/forums/sh ... p?t=118834 Out of interest, do you have an iPhone?

  14. I hope so as I'm about to put mine up for sale!
  15. The turbos not out yet, the spec said 50mpg motorway so seemed a lot better, not actually going to go for it now though, will just sell the car and stick with my van for the forseeable. It's mostly all I use anyway to be honest.
  16. definetly not swapping for a standard set without money coming my way. Out of interest....how much extra cash would you want for a swap? I thought about this earlier, but as nice as the wheels are the real cost comes down to tyres, mine are all good tyres with tread, but the fronts are different to the rears so that'd put people off on a swap... and by the time you change tyres it all adds to the cost etc.
  17. definetly not swapping for a standard set without money coming my way. They cost £75 + VAT a wheel, they are painted not powdercoated (can touch up paint if ever needed, can't with most powdercoats) they are a matt/satin black so they aren't too shiney, I think they look way better in the flat black compared to gloss. I think it was Ford Ash Black we went for in the end. I love them and think it transforms the car one of the best things I did to it if I'm honest!
  18. Yeah I think you're right, we were originally looking to sell my car, sell the fiance's Punto then buy a new car on PCP to "share" but to be honest I was looking at the Veloster Sport for £25k, lovely car but I will never really drive it as I have a van and I'm not sure that sharing a car will work out too well she isn't bothered by a fancy car so it'd just be buying an expensive car for her, so that I can drive it every now and then.... pointless! We've decided to just stick with her little Punto and try and get the steering motor fixed. As you can see by the thread I've come to my senses a bit and realised I'm just being stupid hanging onto the zed, which I've been doing for a while as I've barely used it for quite a while now due to this very reason. Having a quick look on ebay there are a lot of nice cars becoming "cheap", in a few years time after the house a BMW Z4 could be picked up fairly cheap, or an S2000 or even another 350Z I guess!
  19. £8k would be my ideal, it's not super mint but it's pretty damn good and recently had a lot of money spent on spoiler (from Zmanalex) and wheels etc. replaced front discs and pads (from Zmanalex) too. I don't think I've done all that many miles since the last dealer service either. Maybe if I put it up for £8500 and see what interest and offers it gains, if no interest then I could reduce the asking price accordingly. Will be sad to see it go but I'm sure it'll be forgotten once I have my own house rather than a rented flat!
  20. I think the time has come as I've realised that realistically I can't keep the car and get the house at the same time I can afford to run it, but not whilst trying to save £1000 a month so the car just sits there and to be fair once I have the house I won't be able to justify keeping it going when money will need to be spent doing the place up so again it'll sit around depreciating. I've also got a dirt bike that I plan on keeping so unfortunately it all makes sense I test drove a 2012 Hyundai veloster sport today with paddle shift on the thinking I could PCP a new car and free up some cash, it was lovely but again it'd be a non essential toy that the fiancé would mostly use, and it'd be too expensive for her really as she just likes a basic run a round. So, what are Zeds selling like at the minute? Mines an 04 sunset uk with 48k miles, excellent condition, v2 spoiler fitted professionally, colour matched door handles and matt black wheels (recently done) I would remove the pop charger, cobra exhaust, throttle controller and nurrish sat nav to sell seperately. Would I get £7500? More? Or less? I'm not desperate to sell but need to be realistic at the same time. Hopefully once the house is bought and completed I can return with a storm white 370Z
  21. I so want one, and I will use it as a doorbell that'll keep the jehovas entertained!! On the wish list.
  22. Doubt I could afford a Cayman! To be honest rate things are going I'll be lucky to keep the 350 let alone get a 370!
  23. I can see what you're all saying and when the time comes I may well consider an S2 Elise as well, however the main thing it comes down to is "bang for buck" I can't see what else you can buy that looks that good, has all the toys and technology and drives so well, for that amount of money. I think the only real comparision is a Cayman S, and I don't really like Porche's or a sales rep mobile like an Audi S4 or some kind of M3. I do really like the Z4's also, but only the M version which is rather expensive last time I looked. But to be honest, I still prefer the 370Z in almost every way, especially in Storm white
