  1. we need a clear definitive list of works with JDM or not and if someone has found one that works with JDM post a link and be clear it works with JDM

I have a Cheap eBAY EML327 type doesn't display realtime information from torque as will test to see if it can read a fault code

  2. Thanks for the info Suits didnt realise they would offer that however someone may be able to correct me if im wrong but im sure the 350Z limiter is done by the ecu and a remap will also remove the UK 155mph limit too

  3. Only way to remove the limiter that i know of is via a remap or a hks speed delimeter/defender type device it wouldn't of been done on import as far as im aware they only change to meet legal requirements and removing the speed limiter is not a legal requirement

Started getting the car ready for the painters.

First off wanted to remove the spoiler to see what mess was underneath and tidy it up.

Well it was a mess thats for sure but managed to sort it all out fill the holes and a couple of small dents and give it a layer of paint to protect it till it goes to the painters.

Then fitted the 370z side indicator smoothed the old holes and a layer of paint again ready for the painters.

Just a couple more bits to sort then off to be painted.

  5. Autobrite Hellshine Pain glass cleaner love this stuff bought a propper bottle of this but still using the sample I would never of bought this if it werent for waxy box also love the cherry helshine airfreshner just doesn't last long enough .Still got loads of products and waxes i havent tried but love building up what was before this came along a diminishing supply of cleaning products

  6. Based in Essex mate, my front speakers are actually made by Morel just packaged as PG.

PG did disappear for a few years so i'm unsure what their stuff is like since the revival, mine is all the old hand built stuff bought new at the time but only available second hand really these days. The lines to go for from the last years before they disappeared was the titanium elite speakers (Morel) and titanium amps or any of the limited edition amps eg. Outlaw, frankampstein, reactor etc.

I once saw a one off limited edition amp they had made, was only ridiculously low RMS value but due to the quality of it could go up so loud without clipping or distorting it was unbelievable.

Worth checking out but doubt it would fit in the Zed was a Sub they made called a cyclone you will never see another like it.

I do intend on attending more meets and that once my body kit is painted, so may be able to demo it then will also give me time to add the audio bits in my to fit list and possibly put my Nakamichi head unit in too for optimum SQ

  7. But back onto topic.

Do you think they sound better? I was looking at upgrading mine, caraudiosecurity seemss to be best priced around me, so might get some new tweekers and the door/rear speakers upgraded. Looking at around 300 to spend on whole setup max.

Any wires need changing or holes to be screwed?

Sorry this made me laugh, is there many Meth heads round your way with severe paranoia and body tremors?

Any way this thread has brightened my day.

Not trying to belittle you but i just wouldn't fit 6x9's. Just go with the 4 6.5s and a sub it will be more than enough, by putting 4 6x9's in the back plus a set of 6.5's you will have a really unbalanced sound stage, more is not always best.

The reason i think most people jumped on you is because coaxial's and 6x9's are not normally associated with sound quality as the underlying speaker can effect and distort the other speaker.

That is just my 2 pence, and yes i am an audiophile (snob) which is why i spent more on my system than i could get a zed for these days but then it goes with me from car to car.

Hope all my grammar is correct though as English is only my second language after Jibberish :stir:

  8. rodgeevans, you need to swap you radiator cap with me.

 Isn't that just the std one, i have one of those at home still. yeah bought my rad and oil cap right way back at the begining before i had even thought about a colour scheme, I may have a spare red rad cap laying around i will see if so you can have it

  9. Hope those aren't the cheap variety.

I used to have some metal ones, as did my sister. Both bought from different people and within 2-3 months they had rusted onto the valve stem.

I got them all off with an hours work, WD40 and some pliars but damaged one of the valves and needed to be replaced.

Think it was something to do with the metal reacting with the metal on the valve stem.

Yeah this is common as the two different metals react and start bonding at a moleculeur level or somin. what i was told is if you want to use metal dust caps then put copperslip on the thread to reduce the chances of this happening and not being able to get them off at the side of the road when required.

Cs200 tell us more about the tracker and i see that you have removed the location from the image but it is still fairly easily to locate the car as it is pinpointed on the map maybe worth distorting the image so not easily identifiable if you are worried about that sort of thing
