  1. I had never heard it either but came to the conclusion that the dials werent getting a signal knowing that the brain controlled the dials i guessed that a uk one may fix the problem and for 99p was a gamble worth taking. I did post pictures up at the time with the part number i will see if i can find it

  2. If you get the UK dials they are plug and play however the clock will not work so will always read --:-- which i found annoying, To fix this you need the Heater brain from a UK car, the white box that sits behind the heater adjusters again plug and play but both parts cost around 70-80 each i believe, i however found the brain for 99p on ebay which is why i bought it as i dont believe anyone else had fixed the clock issue before and i was testing to see if it would fix the clock which it did and gave a fully functioning triple cluster

  3. Still available mate, they are tinted using tint spray to build up the tint then a couple of coats of laquer to protect the finish this is applied to the outside so they can be polished to a nice gloss shine. i did have flyeye film before and thought it looked terrible myself which is why i went with this option, as it looked a million times better, the only reason i took them off was with black handles wheels and windows on a black car the tinted lights was just a little to much for me and i wanted to break up the rear but everyone else tells me to put them back on

Here we have for sale my old rear lights which i have tinted.

in great condition couple of light marks only visable rearly close up but i will give them a cut and polish for whoever buys them.

one of the clips has broken on one of the lights but this does not affect the operation, fit or make it less secure

Only removed as i went back to red for the contrast.

Still reflect and give a high light output never failed an MOT or tugged whilst i had them fitted.

£50 plus postage of your choice

(Sorry for quality of Name card pictures hope they suffice, Was very sunny and best i could find at the time)

  5. normally the carbon bushes in the motor sometimes you can take apart cleanup and it will work again, there are a few people that have replaced the bushes most people stump up the 150ish and install a new one. the reset procedure will need doing if you take apart and get working again

Bit slow on posting that one

  7. LED's In use in the kick plates are these which i then file down to about half the size to remove the dome cap and just leave a square LED.

Bit more needed to make them fit after this but i will detail this at a later time, as i have only done one side so far so ironing out the process and will document it for the passenger side.

    Tried fitting some spacers

25mm rear and 20mm front but the rears are rubbing so will try the 20mm's on the rear see if that sorts it out plus it prob sticks a little to far out on 25mm

so 25mm will be up for grabs shortly and possibly the 20mm too

  8. Project is looking great!

Mind me asking where you managed to source the LEDS from? I've been hunting for some for the kick plate-type size for ages and ages and lost all hope!!

Cheers, i will dig them out when i am home and get you the details, they are 10mm square LEDS but went into a dome cap like a std round dome cap LED so i sanded them down to remove the cap and give a perfectly flat 10mm square LED. just need to work out how to get them onto the lighting circuit now so they come on with the interior light as the car is unlocked or doors opened

  9. Cheers unfortunately in the grand scheme of things to come green would clash, there pretty rare LEDS i used, which were hard enough finding in Red. I will add a full guide when complete.

The Camera helps be see out the back as with my ironing board on the back i cant see much out the window.

reminds me i was meaning to ask where did you get you V2 spoiler Chris
