  1. mmmm 4 seats do they come with isofix's?

TBH im not sure. I cant get to the car right now as im out of the country otherwise i would check for you. The cars still up for sale though.

Thanks for the comments guys

The shine in the pictures comes after:

    Washing

    Claying

intesive polish with meguires dual action rotary (Menzerna)

    finishing polish with rotary (Menzerna)

    red moose glaze

    then sealed

    Then Zymol

Looking forward to doing the Zed when i have time, though im not sure GM will come out as good as gloss red

  2. Im definatly interested in the lifters and the the rear led lights. Please let me know on prices.

Also what it the bore size on the decats?

And does the smaller aerial affect the reception negativly at all?

    Cheers :)

  3. Got a 3" true dual with 3.5" decats. Its very loud :scare: , especially when cruising around and only using some throttle. I think these decats add a lot of sound, as they are huge and not resonated.

However it sounds nuts when your going for it B)

I have a custom 2.5" single exhaust on my Fiat coupe, and when i added a 2.5" downpipe to it, it hardly added any sound as it was resonated and also smaller diameter.

So basically dont go to big and make sure they are resonated (and good quality).

  4. Mattg: Thanks for the great reply, thats pretty much the conclusion i came to with regards to tyre sizes except i used this website (with other useful info) http://www.carbibles.com/tyre_bible_pg4.html

I spoke to another member who has run wide rubber and he said that it really helps to put the power down and made the car feel as if it was on rails, as they say, only negative was a slight increase in understeer. I mostly get the extra power down even with the current 245's (tiny) when in a straight line, however with any lock applied the wheels spin, but the front feels fine so i think that 275 or 285 would defo make a differance

Camskill are selling Falken 275's and 285's for the same price and the same with 245's and 255's i think.

Think i will be dynamatting the boot etc too, to help block out the exhaust noise and the extra noise from the wider rubber

H5: They do look hideousss......................... ly good,

You've done nothing stop the number of owners of these increasing by showing those pics. By the way great location, where? if i may ask.

Gotta say they look good with the GM. Amongst my favorite rims, and there not too expensice either. Im thinking of going for the v1 kit with the wheels myself, plus some other things, nothing too OTT but subtle stuff.

How have the wheels held up with wear and tear? Do the lips hold up ok? Im propbably not going to swap in the winter. Also is your lowered at all?

    Thanks for the pics

    Nice one lads

  5. i just rang the Audi garage and had a chat. i think il be part ex'n. Bit silly but i cant be bothered with advertising and and that monkey. oh well :blink:

    Nice car, GLWTS :)

What are you swithing to if you dont mind ?

  6. 1.Nurrish - Vortech S/C @420rwhp - 372 rwtq - Abbey Motorsports (Dynapack)

    2.Ian - HKS S/C @ 380rwhp - 350 rwtq - Abbey Motorsports (Dynapack)

    3.Ballistic - APS TT - 437hp 385ftlbs - .

I plan to get some health checks done, inc a mapping/fuelling check, so i will have more info on the RR figures than. Is it ok to leave as that for now?

  7. Thanks for you advice mate :)

I have been having a good look around and i think im now really leaning towards the Z2s's in GM.

They seem a good wheel all round, and are ticking all the right boxes for me. B)

I was wondering if they come in a 9j for the front? (ET20)? does that give you any extra lip at the front? Or is the 8.5j the only way to go? Thought you might have come across this when you ordered them

Regarding the TCS issues do you think i would need to go 255 front if i go 285 rear? Has anyone out there done this? any negative's?

Thanks a bunch mate, i think you have helped me make up my mind

Is is CS and RR that sell them on here?

  8. MattG - Nice one, thats what i was looking for, good to know they improve grip too. Motor looks nice mate B) I was looking at the GM ones mysel to match my zed.

Do you know if you can fit 285's on the back? Oh and are you lowered.

Tarmac - My excuse is that i dont have any lil ones...... yet

By the way i saw these on ebay, Dotz GTR's for £670. What you guys rekon?

Think these are better than the Rota's?

  9. Nice one guys

Tarmac- sell your motor and buy a grown ups car, you know it makes sense :p . Thanks for the advice though.

Biggy and Digsy - I did read those threads, and any others i could find  thanks for the recomendation though. I got loads of info on fitments and apperance etc.

By the way guys, just to be %100 sure, im looking at following set up

    Rota GTR 19x9 ET20 (front) + 245/35

    Rota GTR 19x10 ET20 (rear) + 285/35

This staggered package is available from CS. Will these offsets be flush with the arches? (give the agressive stance?). Anyone with pics of this setup?

Just to be sure again, is that the tyre combo to go for also? Im pretty sure they are from research, but just wanna make sure there will be no rubbing issues or anything else on a non-lowered zed.

Although i know the GTR are a light wheel that is designed for zed fitment and thus should not harm the performance, minimally. Just wanted to get some user review/feedback on this issue specifically i.e: ride/handling/traction/cornering after fitting GTR 19's please :D and also are there any reports of bucking etc

    Thanks againg lads

  10. Definately go for 19s bud... Mines a daily driver and they are fine... You will probably regret it if you went for 18s...

I like the look of the GTRs too, all except for the sticker

Thanks. What about performance/handling, any adverse effects there? Have you lowered you zed at all?

Pics of wheels in question to enjoy:

    (which sticker you refering to)

    Rota%20Gunmetal%20(Small).bmp

    Linea%20Corse%20Z2S.bmp

  11. Are there any reports of these wheels messing with the cars ride and handling? I do not want to spoil the cars performance just for looks.

Also I know they are more expensive but i have been thinking about the rota GTR's in GM or the linea corse Z2S's. The write up seems to be good for both. The GTR's give the more agressive look and the Z2S give a clean look. Leaning towards the GTR's at the mo. (Bet Fakeindian's releived :teeth: )

Another descision is 18's or 19's. I havnt seen any bad reports about running 19's but i wonder if it does change the car for the worse or better, or not at all even. Remember its an everyday London driver
